Finals thread.

Hilarious.

This team is at least two years away from being a real contender.

Even then, they're not keeping Ibaka and Harden.

They'll keep Ibaka, maybe not Harden. We could go get Kevin Martin, or Kembra Walker. Either way I'm happy. And no we are good to go. Last year the Heat were Fianls virgins and it showed, same with OKC.

F*** a small market team.

Go watch NBDL or Europian leagues or somethin.

Not one single Heat fan, bandwagon or not, trying to hear that.

You're the kinda tool who gets on a message board and *****es because his "small market" team got put out

Not so much that they got put out as the fact that they basically got rendered into a minor league franchise tonight. They were already at a competitive disadvantage, but now as the era of the superteam is ushered in, teams in smaller markets won't even have a chance anymore. The Heat were FAR superior to the Pacers this year, and did well to win the couple games they did, even with Bosh out.

Whatever it takes to bring you outta your cave.

Next time put a tag on dat ish!!!

Lebron haters stand up!

? - anyway, if I'm a "Bron hater" for saying this cat needed half the east all star team to win... so be it. Sad thing it's what it is.

Bron nut huggers stand up

Yep. But Jordan didn't have nearly as much help to win his first.

No way LBJ wins six of his own accord. Hell, Michael had a legit shot at 8 if he didn't shut it down for baseball.

Scotty Pippen was a far better complementary player for MJ than anybody on the Heaters is for James. Plus he only had arguably the greatest coach in NBA history. LeBron's coach is basically a stuffed animal.

I certainly am not arguing that LeBron is a better player than Jordan is. I am arguing that there's a hell of a lot of retroactive mythology going around about Jordan's early career, and that LeBron appears to be hitting his peak at almost exactly the same age Jordan hit his. There's a whole decade in front of us for this to play out.

Your team still got put out and all I hear us *****ing still

The world is gonna end this year anyway.

I'm glad to see Lebron get one and any real basketball fan should be too.

Man, you don't understand. I understand the national media deal, but not many people in the SE United States gave/give a flip about the national media. You act like the national media speaks for the people or something.
If you want to refer to MJ's early career as a sideshow act, that's your opinion. Manute Bol was a sideshow act. George Muresan as well.

Spoken like a guy who spent hundreds of dollars on Air Jordan shoes before Jordan won anything. Gotcha.

Congrats to the Heat, not what I wanted but they deserve to win. Just don't want to hear all the comparisons of Lebron to Jordan and I know that is all we will hear about for the next month. Lebron isn't even close, as bad as I hate to say it he isn't even close to Kobe.

Why the hell should a "real basketball fan" want to see LeBron win a ring? He couldn't even do it without stacking the deck so far in his favor it was almost impossible for him not to get one. LOL at people acting like this is some sort of accomplishment. With that all-star squad, they should be embarrassed that they even lost one game.

Lol. I didn't mean "Lebron haters" towards you, cuz I know you really do love him.

Who's your favorite player?

Are you a nut hugger?

Might I ask, how long did you live in Oklahoma?

Who cares? I've followed Westbrook since he was at UCLA. Once he was drafted to OKC I was fan. Problem? Same thing with AI, I followed the 6ers for most of my life because of Iverson. Am I supposed to be a Grizzlies fan simpy because I live in Tennessee?? Cause I just moves here a couple years ago

Sadly, no they don't. According to many people, Wade has been at less than 100% all postseason, and we all obviously know that Bosh has as well. The Thunder missed their best shot this year IMO. The Heat will only get stronger next season, especially if they add Nash. I'm sure another group of players will be scheming behind the scenes to create another superteam, because that's going to be the only way anybody is going to be able to win a title now that the Heat have laid out this new formula. Sucks for the small market teams that are just going to become minor league teams to draft and develop the great players before they join superteams and chase titles. Whatever, at least LeBron got his title so all you guys can feel good for him and maybe the media can at least stfu about him a little bit.

Because small market teams win titles all the time. Give me a break.

People like act there are a litter of great players in the NBA just waiting to team up with others. I got news for you, they are few and far between. Not only that but how many teams have a destination city and and can clear the cap room to do what Miami did.

What they did wont be duplicated.

Embarrassing is what you keep posting in this thread.
