Ferguson Riots

I am not a fan of our President commenting on the affairs of private citizens in any context. It's going to happen, sure..but Obama has time and time again commented almost exclusively when its white versus black. Off the top of my head his idiot professor who got arrested..Obama decides to comment before the facts race known and comes out looking like an a##hole. The Martin thing, talking about if he had a soon he would look like the kid..then there is this. This guy is just a crock.

The last president I can remember doing something similar was Bush Sr. in regards to Rodney King. And basically he said enough with the police brutality. It was pretty easy to come to that conclusion when watching the beat down video. Yet Obama opens his mouth before there is literally any facts presented and draws his own racist conclusion(s).

I think the black community wants to hear the black president comment on what they perceive to be a long pattern of such incidents. He hasn't said anything inappropriate.

BS. Besides, he hasn't done anything for the black community yet so why interject himself into this now except to be a TV whore just like Al Sharpton wanting the attention of trying to stay revelant.

I think there is term for that, it's called racism.

And if the black community of the USA thinks the President has ANYTHING in common with them then, enjoy living in fantasy land..

Who gives a rats ass about the black community? Why does there even need to be a distinction & as long as there is there will be racial issues. There's a pattern but what happened damn sure isn't part of one.

Clinton hasn't said a word..

Yes, very interesting. But she isn't running for another 2 years. There's really no value to her in saying anything that the facts might contradict as they come out.

The fact he has commented on it, is inappropriate

That's pretty simple minded response from you.

I am not surprised.

He did not look to me like he was terribly enthusiastic about commenting. He'd probably prefer to wait until the facts come out before getting knee deep in it. But he's POTUS. There's rioting in the streets of a US city for a week-plus.

He should comment because of that.

I was referring to the first truly " black prez" slick willie ..not that hag of a wife of his.

May be a bit wrong for me to assume, but I think the family knows damn good and well whats going on.

I think they think their community is rallying around them and will help them find justice, but once the actual justice system kicks in(and actual details come up in court) they'll be abandoned. Pretty soon there will be another tragedy for the "leaders" to rally around.

The only "justice" they seek is the scenario that finds a innocent white cop underneath a jail. Regardless what the facts and evidence produce, any other judgement on the man will be met with hostility and a claim that a poor, sweet, gentle giant was murdered by whitey.

Saw a guy give an interview during a demonstration wearing a shirt that said "fame first". That's why the parents are ok with their child being used as a pawn in the race baiter sweepstakes of Sharpton and JJ.

President Bush, who's administration recklessly sent us into unjustified war, attended ZERO veterans funerals.

I might add that this general's service was private, per the wishes of the family.

Extremely poor analogy, even for you hard right loons, and that's saying a lot..

How many generals and ambassadors were killed on GW's watch?
