Ferguson Riots

As each day passes I'm growing move convinced he was right, that doesn't mean he won't be run up as a sacrificial lamb though.

I have to fight the urge to defend him just because so many have already convicted him.

At a minimum it is looking like a Zimmerman type incident where a very physical struggle ensued.

As in Zimmerman, there may be some reasonable middle ground charges that may fit but they will not be pursued and if they are they will not satisfy either foaming at the mouth side.

Likely the officer will not get the benefit of the doubt here due to fear of outcomes of acquittal.

The governor should be removed from office for his actions & his statements. The president & DOJ should've never gotten involved.

Bottom line: If you fight with the cops, they may kill you.

The scary part is the premature conviction of either man without carefully looking at all the facts.

I agree with the last part. He could have been 100% in the right and defending himself further than he already had and can still be held to it. There are outside forces and circumstances at work here that are more concerned with the aftermath instead of the truth and justice.

He somewhat back tracked from his comments last night which were about as out of line as they could be. Hes a political hack. Im not sure the DOJ is there for justice regardless of their title.

Just the thought that some believe this is a possible outcome is quite sad to say the least. In essence, a group... that allegedly is in the wrong... protests so much that a majority... which allegedly would therefore be in the right... allows someone to face a penalty which he should not face (since he was simply doing his job) due to concerns that those in the wrong will react in a negative way to what should be the right decision.

I'm sorry, but there was no need to shoot 7 or 8 times. I'm all for defending yourself, but that was excessive.

Cop had a busted eye, he was pretty much shooting with no depth perception. You shoot until the assailant goes down and nothing short of that.

No kidding.... I find it funny the number of folks that have this "that was excessive" opinion on these things. My guess is that if they were in the same position they'd do the same thing.....or get their throat cut.
