I agree with the last part. He could have been 100% in the right and defending himself further than he already had and can still be held to it. There are outside forces and circumstances at work here that are more concerned with the aftermath instead of the truth and justice.

I recently saw clips of Al Sharpton's grandstanding at Ferguson simply stating that no matter what, they will get their way...one way or the other. All based upon his "opinion" with very little facts he has received about this case.

Then there's the state senator in Missouri who has stated publicly, if you don't indict Officer Wilson then the Ferguson public disobedience will be on the small scale compared to what will occur if there's no indictment.

I love how they acted like the guy with the knife was doing nothing wrong. Are the cops supposed to wait until he stabs them in the face?

They were talking about the danger of being a BMW(Black man walking) today on CNN.

Considering the high likely good of them being shot by another black man, I would have to agree.

The other night I heard one of the peacekeepers on CNN say, "man they're just throwing water bottles, it's just a little water bottle it's not going to hurt them(cops)". I'm thinking, let's let the cops throw water bottles at you and see how you like it. It's assault either way you look at it.

It's a good story. But I'd also like to take it a couple of steps further.

1. Have the police send in the looters they captured (if there are any) to do that cleanup and help fix the store. let them look the business owners and workers in the eyes while they sweep up.

2. Coordinate with the leaders of the protests and have them police their own. I'm not saying they are complicit, but the residents know far better who's supposed to be there and who's not. If they start locking these fools up and policing their own, it goes a long way in the great scheme of things.

I don't see anything wrong with those points. Don't think it will ever happen, but it would be nice.
