Ferguson Riots

They've not even done their own autopsy yet. da-****.

I'm sure they're "experts" will show the wounds consistent with Mike Brown helping an old lady across the street while reading a bible.

Yeah I think they have. They hired one of those "celebrity" experts to perform a second one.

Just asking questions here, but if 6 shots were fired and two were to the head and four to the arms, would that not lead to an assumption he had his arms up? If his arms were to his side, it makes me wonder what the hell the cop was shooting at.

One of the experts for the Brown family say the arm wounds are consistent with them being raised in a surrender like stance or walking away.

All very possible, but not logical. It does not fit the history of what I have heard about this officer. Nor does it make any sense for anyone other than a psychopath to shoot someone in broad day light in a police car wearing a police uniform for no reason. The totality of the circumstances do not match their talking points.

Devils advocate here, but.... To your question when an officer shoots he is usually coming on to target with a holstered gun. Depending on the situation and the quckness that it happens, it is not uncommon for the first shots to start low, working up to center mass. It is also not uncommon for rounds to strike the perceived threat. In this case, what was striking him, or what was about to strike him, as this is a focal point during an altercation. In other words, if you were coming at me with a knife I wouldnt be looking at center mass initally.

First, they are rioting and looting their own neighborhoods. Why the hell should I feel any pity for them?

Second, lighten up - it's a joke. Some of you guys act all holier than thou. You're not, stop pretending.

Jokes usually have some element of humor inherent in their delivery. You may think that I lack humor when I don't laugh at your joke, but the truth is that your joke had no humor in it for me to detect.

This thread is full of people making light of the situation.

The contrived situation is kinda laughable at this point. Kid robbed a store, assaulted the owner and then assaulted the cop who stopped him. Then the people of the town decide to riot, loot and burn stuff. Sorry if I have little sympathy.

He was unarmed but then again that big of a man, a closed fist seems pretty dangerous to me.

Nobody is asking for sympathy. Just decency.

If you didn't think it was funny, then either you didn't understand it or you were distracted by the corn cob in your butt.

Hey, I'm with you. I couldn't care less about these people.

There is no such thing as an unarmed encounter when a LE is involved. Kind of cliche, but true. Also, just giving information, not facts, as I do not know the facts.
