Ferguson Riots

Makes good ratings for the media channels.....liberals not sure about but most love it.

Meh this is rabble rouser fodder every way.

My ultra liberal acquaintances have made it about race.

Meanwhile another group on Facebook has made it about police overreach and brutality without knowing all the details.

The police chief is up again making some more statements to write down. Looks to be Q & A type thing.

You might want to read through this thread. It's no secret he was a suspect for the incident at the store. And, the investigators already knew this. It just wasn't released for you to read precious.

And ftr. Volnation isn't the only forum where police issues are discussed.

What do you know, police on CNN now saying he wasn't a suspect in the robbery and the stop had nothing to do with it.

Just admit nobody knows **** until the investigation is over.

The stop had to do with profiling... Duh! What else is the media gonna say now..

That alters the officer's perception of why he is stopping them. But it is a reasonable inference that the reason Brown either physically resisted, or physically attacked the officer, is that Brown thought that may be why they were being confronted.

If you watch the video, the owner tries to block him from leaving the store, and that's what causes Brown to grab him and shove him. The owner follows him out and stands in the doorway, presumably yelling at him and saying he's going to call police.

Certainly Brown, walking down the street with his friend, having minutes before brazenly stolen something and battered the owner, and having an officer pull up, would think "uh oh."

Exactly my thinking. Also why would he profile a black person in a town that's predominantly black?

Doesn't make any sense.

FERGUSON, Mo. — Michael Brown was identified as a suspect in a strong-arm robbery of a box of cigars moments before he was shot to death by Officer Darren Wilson, police said Friday.

It's amazing how hypocritical people are. I think people actually believe this cop simply found two kids walking down the road and executed them for no reason.

Now I do think in general cops are too quick to use excessive force and if he was shot while he was running away with hands up that should be looked into.

This shouldn't even be national news, but the media is eating it up and actually making matters worse.

That's exactly what he did.....shot him for no apparent reason......he grabbed the poor little kid by the neck and pulled him into his police car and then just cut him down right there in the street.....all gangster style and what not......the kid was just on his way home with a bottle of Hawaiian Punch

I'm thinking that if I'm attacked by 6'4"" 292 lb thug that my life is in danger and I'm using all means of stopping him including deadly force.

The family's lawyer is currently talking live, and he all but admitted, with lawyer rhetorical flourishing, that the kid was pretty much a dickhead. But not to put too much stock into that.

To his point, being a dickhead doesn't justify being shot and killed. We'll just have to see how the investigation goes.

Edit: No, wait, now he's calling it character assassination. Hell, I don't have a clue what he's trying to say.

And, I didn't realize it before, but this is the same guy that, on CNN earlier, said "Charles Mason" and Saddam Hussein were only in prison.

Like in Ukraine thread, I don't have a clue what's going on. Just people saying ****.

Hey will you mix me a drink too?

Hey will you mix me a drink too?

Believe me, that's what I thought he was on while giving that presentation. He didn't make any sense. The other speakers made much more sense. He is apparently not a very good lawyer. I'm serious, he kept implying that the kid was a dick (of course, not in those words or outright), then started going into a bit about how horrible it was that the Ferguson PD was attempting to assassinate Brown's character. It made no sense whatsoever.

Did anybody else see that? I know I jumped the gun on the "officer not charged" deal, but I was paying close attention to this one.
