Everyone should be defending Trump and the actions of the FBI, if they will do this to a sitting/former President worth hundreds of millions of dollars what do think they would do to an average person with no political power or money? The Left and the so called moderates on this board are fooling themselves if they think it couldn't or wouldn't happen to them
The only way to fix it is a revolution, but the country today doesn't have the same fortitude our Founding Fathers had. Most people don't see, or refuse to see, we're just serving a new king in the current federal government.Agreed on both. There has to be a way to fix it but I am not smart enough to know what it is.

While I can actually see him doing this and laughing the more funny thing is if a document like that existed and a witness would state under oath they saw him do it there at least would be a paper trail and some conformation of said event to the point that I’d guess it’s gray enough to not resolve. I think it wood be a lousy way of doing things but oddly enough it might pass muster with as much authority as the chief executive has hereMaybe Trump busted out his favorite sharpie and scribbled NOT in front of CLASSIFIED on the documents.
Here is a YouTube video.Go read the case you referenced. It even notes that all original classification authority rests with the President as head of the Executive Branch. Clearly that isn’t a manageable situation and thus the office delegates that authority to other agencies and his cabinet members. But original authority rests with the office of the President.

I realize that most of you will immediately be dismissive of it, because it's taken from "The Lawrence O'Donnell Show" on MSNBC, and he is Trump-hating, devout liberal.
Between the :40 and the :50 second mark, a pundit named Bradley Moss, who is identified by a chyron as being a "National Security Attorney," states that documents pertaining to our own nuclear weapons would fall under a law known as "The Atomic Energy Act," and would therefore, have a separate classification regime, which Donald Trump could not declassify on his own. It is the "The Atomic Energy Act" which is always cited by the pundits I see arguing that the President can't declassify nuclear secrets all by himself.
Now, once again, and by my own admission ... I know nothing about this. I'm not arguing with you. I'm merely posting information that conflicts (slightly) with what you are saying.
Yep. Another common misconception getting abused today badly. To get access an individual must pass two checks A) a clearance at or above the subject matter (or in SCI clearance for that compartment since TS is as high as it gets) and B) the need to know.Lol, I know you are smarter than that. Anyone who has access to the material has to have at minimum an equal or higher clearance than the material and to read or examine it a need to know.

So, which is more likely?
a) Trump goes to prison and is forbidden from ever running for public office
b) Libs soon discover they've been the butt of a troll job for the ages
Reading through, the lefties are acting like a 14 year old who just got his hands on his first Playboy.I've been away from the computer. But oh they've gotten him this time. Lol...this is a witch hunt that they want to be legit.
