FBI locks down Pilot HQ?

Pilot and other truckstops gives a discount/rebate to some large trucking companies to secure their business.

Absolutely (discounts, not rebates)

Also, all truck stops that sell fuel for CDL type vehicles must put out their daily fuel price by 4:30 am daily. Many trucking companies use this to advise where their drivers are to fuel up on their routes for their trip.

That being said, screw OTR truck jobs.

IIRC, Pilot uses mainly point of sale discounts but Flying J (before the merge) relied on both pos discount and rebates. Just a speculation but the investigation might be tied to the Flying J customers who didnt get their money during the merger.

In general, anyone can get a discount/rebate like the trucking companies but it requires fueling about 5000 gallons a month minimum.

Someone mentioned to me earlier thats close to a UT recruit that there is some dirty business going on maybe referring to money laundering he didnt have any details about the raid just Said that he has heard bad things about this whole situation. I know nothing, just curious if this could turn really bad and trickle down to UT athletics? What r ya'll hearing?

You're either doing a horrible job trolling, or just clueless.

Yeah I dont think UT will, just a huge investigation for just a small amount of rebates imo, I wouldnt rule out that Someone will be in serious trouble both FBI and IRS dont raid a HQ that brings in 30 billion a Yr. Idk I May be wrong though.

Sometimes they do. Hell, didn't it happen in Knoxville just recently to another business?

Just heard on the radio Jimmy is under investigation for fraud associated with a gas rebate "scheme". Anyone know more about this?

From his initial statement it sounds like he is not saying it didn't happen. He is going to claim he was unaware of it and had nothing to do with it. Others have said he did know and was in on meetings. So who knows???

Essentially they were taking advantage of the fact that some of their clients are retarded

Have friends at pilot. Talked with them today and they told me this is no big deal haslam will walk away with maybe a little slap on wrist but will Probly just have to write a check to payback rebates unpayed. Unless something elscalates or changes he should be fine.

Corporate law is pretty clear-if he knew, of if he "should have known", this could get real ugly, real quick. Hope it blows over, it's nice having these guys in our corner.
