I'm far from emotional but yalls support is going to bring out tears. Impressive display.
We all may disagree, argue, and fight each other here but when it comes to our football, family, our players we are going to come together to defend for these things. We won’t let an outsider get away for anything bad against these items. I’ve witnessed that over the years. We are vfl’s

I have donated to other families having UT connections before. Most of them were Vol fans like me. I do it for the sake of wanting to help one of our extended Vol family in need, football player or not. I am worried that the NCAA would see this is as inequitable treatment not available for other UT students which, if true, is the wrong answer. From my perspective and I think is true of many others on here, if one substituted a story about an UT student not associated with the athletic program, I would still have contributed.

Yeah was just thinking about how does the NCAA look at this? I know this is a very unusual situation, but just logically going through the thought process.
Yeah so why couldn’t we do this with whatever high profile recruit we were after to help recruit... hmm

Got with operations and the way they made it sound was that UT coaches, staff, etc couldn't donate. Compliance is on it and will make recommendations on any necessary changes to avoid issues. If they try to shut it down then we should send the NCAA the hospital bills. ICU for over a week won't be cheap. I can add that UT has been wonderful during all of this. Also the Gofundme was started by one of the children. Mistee woke up to see how amazing people can be.

Thank you all. a little side note is that Ken was battling Pneumonia and Covid at the same time. He already beat the pneumonia but Covid is messing with his oxygen. Tennessee compliance has helped all along and just seeing Tennessee nation blow by the goal makes EVERYONE know that Kaidon made the best decision in choosing to be a VOL. Once again thank you for sharing and thank you for anyone that donated and/or shared the post.
Once a Vol, always a Vol and there's nothing like it. Prayers sent for Ken and the family. I lost one of my best friends to Covid in December. Hopefully, Ken has a great recovery and gets to watch his son ball out for the next four years.
