Kalik sucks for carribean beer. My favorites are stella and a beer out of Munich called Spaten Optimator.

Spaten is good beer but from Munich you also have to try:

Hofbrau
Franziskaner Weissbier
Augustiner (All)
Paulaner (All) Top of the list
Erdinger Weissbier
Ayinger Weisse
Weihenstepaner Heffeweissbier (Get it at local bar!)
Tucher (All)

Brost!!

I am dying to go to Munich when I get out of school. The only other beer from your list the I have had is Paulaner-very tasty. I wanted to add Hacker-Pschorr.

There is no doubt a grocery list to choose from. Just go from Gasthaus to Gasthaus and you will definately not be disappointed. I love hanging out in the old poorly ventilated smokey Gasthuas' in the smaller towns. Mmmm. The memories or lack there of actually.

Beer drinker after my own heart. Love Bit. Have you ever tried Heninger Dunkle? I like that as well. Too bad you can't get these in the US.

I recognize the Heninger name so probably have drank it but honestly can't remember. Spent many years in Germany so have tried just about any beer brewed in the south.

Mendocino Brewing has some great brews, Red Tail Ale, Black Hawk Stout, White Hawk Select IPA.

We have a local brewer over here in Asheville, Highland Brewing, (Microbrewed Ales & Beer Styles in Bottles & Beer Kegs. Gaelic Ale) that crafts some tasty beers also. Enjoying a Gaelic Ale as I type.

Ever go into "Dirty Jacks" or Jack o' the Woods in Asheville? The brewery for the two is in the back of Dirty Jacks. The wife and I went in DJ's one afternoon for a brew. It had to be the worst swill I ever tried to drink. The best description of the brew I had is a mixture of green persimmon juice and iodine. And the price for a glass was pure larceny. Maybe it's an acquired taste but I don't think I'll try to acquire it.
I'll just stick with American Pilsner beers.
By the way, I like Miller High Life in a longneck bottle. At least with a clear bottle you can spot any rat droppings in the bottom.

Have been to Jack o' the Woods a couple of times. I like the 'interesting' crowd that sometimes gathers there.

Another good local brewer is Pisgah which is out your way.

Do you know what larceny means?
