Hey i accepted my status when I started craving Natural Light in a can. I have two FULL SIZE fridges in my kitchen. One for food and one strictly for beer and beer accessories (Liquer and Cokes, pepsis, and sprites for mixing said liquers) And a freezer for frozen mugs and Yager!!!
mmmm...Abita...good stuff.I like the Fat Tire's Amber Ale, Abita Turbo Dog, and
Beck's Dark.
.
had some in Milwaukee a couple of years ago...also good stuff. If you are ever in the northeast gotta have the Leinenkugel. Is brewed in Wisconsin by 72 people who care. Very good. Any brand of HefeWeizen. Or any Wheat beer at all for that matter!!!!
 mmmmmmmmmmmmm beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer. My personal favorite. In fact, i'm about 45 minutes away from having one......Newcastle!
Newcastle is great. I prefer it on tap instead of bottled. Bass Pale Ale is another one of my favorites.
Rogue Brewery... Out in Newport, on the Oregon coast. About 30 minutes directly west of OSU. They actually have quite a hefty selection of brews. Formerly located down in southern Oregon... Another one I'd recommend if you can get it is the Oregon Golden Ale, and the Chocolate Stout.Enjoying a "Dead Guy Ale" from Rogue (Oregon).
Quite tasty - Milo, can you fill us in on Rogue?
Bham, are you a World Market beer shopper like me. Like I said I have a dedicated beer fridge so I always have some off the beaten path stuff. My fiance travels a lot with her job so she brings me micro-brew samplers back from different cities . Two of the ones you guys have mentioned, Dead Guy, and the Sweetwater blue I didn't care for at all. Here is another for you out of the Baltimore area, Clipper City brewing company. Have a large selection of hops and some high percentage beers. I always liked the anchor beers out of california. Do like the Shiner boch, also here is one Blue Star beer. It is another great wheat beer.
Once again, Alabama shows its backwardsness with its beer laws. Nothing over 6% (or so) allowed and nothing in individual servings above 16oz. We miss out on so many great beers here due to these archaic laws.

So... UA and Auburn U have to miss out on having 40's? Dude... Those big suckers of OE are a freakin' staple of the state college experience.Once again, Alabama shows its backwardsness with its beer laws. Yeah, sounds like a bunch of BS. Either way, gotta love the beast. Not sure about U of A but when we used to party at Auburn it was Kegs of the BEAST. Milwaukee's Best was all you ever saw at the frats. Remember those crazy commercials a couple years ago talking about how Old Milwaukee was voted america's best tasting beer like so many years in a row?
