Josh McNeil called D-Mo the fastest guy on the team in an interview with John Brice. McNeil said that even with a year off D-Mo could run with Kenny O'Neil. That's some speed.

I think you are right Eric. I should say that I am not being a smart... about it. The Vols need the speed to compete.

I completely agree with you on the Kenny O'Neil comment that you presented under the table. Smartass or not it's fact he could be a huge bust if he doesn't get it together.

:birgits_giggle: Well, that's what I was going to say. I can see O'Neal line up on one side and Paige on the other side good lord, it would be hard to defend that kind of speed. I can't wait to see Paige play.

No he is the most talented player on the team who has been buried on the bench due to our coach's unwillingness to play the best we have. He'd have been an AA last year if he lived up to his VN hype.

Oh the start of another off-season filled with talk of the great Kenny O'Neal and all of the "fear" he is going to strike in the hearts of our opponents.

Actually, he would have been playing on sundays last year and preparing for the pro bowl had he lived up to his VN hype.

Guys, the other players listed are fast but if we're talking speed O'Neal is elite fast. He has a GA AND CA 100m title, has run an official 10.34 100 and took a silver at the Jr Olympics. Now, I wouldn't trade 10 O'Neals for one Berry on a football field but there is literally only a handful of people playing football that belong with O'Neal on a track. As for Morley this NFL scouting site only credits him with a 4.48.

Well, only isn't very fair as a legit 4.48 is faster than it sounds with all the garbage 40 times out there but comparing anybody on this squad with O'Neal in terms of raw speed is simply folly.
