Would you take your young kids to a bar and stay out until after midnight ? That’s basically what a night game at Neyland Stadium is now. I had an aisle seat and Almost every other person 30 and under that I saw at the game was carrying 2 beers every time I looked up. I saw fights break out, coeds that were so drunk they could barley walk, beer being spilled on people, I’ve never seen more people desperate to spend $13 on a can of cheap beer than anywhere in my life. If I had young children, I would not want them witnessing what I saw and would not be taking them to night games at Neyland. The fact that anyone is trying to justify the actions of our fans is a complete joke. It was totally classless and has no place in college sports. Sad because it legit makes me question if I should ever take my young kids to a game.
Oh and by the way, it wasn’t a first down anyway.
beer sales at Neyland are probably done for the rest of the seasonWould you take your young kids to a bar and stay out until after midnight ? I truly believe the fanbase has lost their patience.
Ole Miss players taunting the fans and players, faking injuries to slow down our momentum, incompetent officiating, completely ruined a good game.
The fans are tired of being bullied and they finally snapped tonight.
Don't agree with the actions but I agree it is a by product of the crap this fan base has been out through. The outside doesn't understand. It's more than just the losses. This school has had the most inept front office in all of athletics, professional or amateur and in any sport, in the world the past 14yrs. They've continually kicked the fans while down and shat on them. So what did they expect? That the fans wouldn't get fed up at some point? They wouldn't show frustration? What's our administration do? They continue to put losing teams out there and ask fans to pay more money and have more patience.
All that said, I like Heupel and Co.. tough loss, had our chances but I think he's a good coach. First good decision the admin has made in awhile with football.
100% Bull sh##! I’m truly convinced some of you have never watched any team play other than UT, and are completely ignorant that bad/blown calls are common and happen nearly every game I watch and I watch a lot.
Anyone not completely condemning what happened is ridiculous.
stuff getting thrown can get people hurt and most likely it would be a vol fan cause most of the stuff doesn’t reach the field
I believe fully that no other fan base has suffered through more than this one.
And that still doesn’t make tonight ok.
I am proud of our on the field performance (-Milton) but we deserve the HEFTY fine we will get.
