Fan Rules @ Games

Actually, no...you were being a douche and I personally don't like people who are like that....so it was personal....I will stand a majority of time but I do have respect for the people directly behind me....if they do not have a problem with me standing then I will probably stand the entire game....I do however have a problem when I stand for an important play and someone who is about 5 rows behind me yells for me to sit down....I turn look at him, laugh at him and continue to stand....
Is it my fault that someone being a douche prompts douche-like behavior from me? It's pretty simple, don't want douche drink on your shirt, don't be a douche and stand the whole game. I can guarantee you I'm not a douche. I'm quite the opposite. I would never spill a drink on you, because you seem to have a little common sense, a little. Although, talking about punching someone in the face is somewhat douch(y), but who am I to judge?

I would have to disagree. Your sitting or standing during a game has absolutely NO influence on the game. All it does is make a whole section of people want to take you behind the woodshed.

You being there has no influence on the game. You should watch from home.

While that is true, I choose to go to the games and support my favorite team in a reasonable manner. Thanks for you input though.

There is a time for everything,
a time to stand and a time to sit,
a time to cheer and a time to boo,
a time for soda and a time for booz,
a time to go to the game and a time to stay home,

IMO if you're the only ones standing in your section then sit your asses down. No usher is gonna tell you to sit down if it is a time to be standing.

O lord once again.you dont have to stand to cheer loud.

If you are going to cheer loud then you better stand up because if you do sitting down I might have to punch you since it's in my ear. K thanks. I've been to too many games and it makes a difference.

Or how about she sits and screams, and you stand and be silent? That would be an interesting twist on things.

There are many people who love football and love the Vols who cannot stand for any extended period. Someday, you youngsters will be in your 60s. Are you going to stop going to games because you cannot stand? Or are you going to sit in your seat behind inconsiderate people who are standing ALL THE TIME? You can cheer just as loud sitting.

In Neyland Stadium, the areas surrounding the field, where the fans are allowed to be, are called sits. We don't build stands in these parts.

Don't start bringing logic into this conversation. Other people's feelings don't matter. Being considerate is for the weak. Feelings are ewwy and sensitive and not so tough. If you don't stand the whole time and make a lot of noise the entire time, you are not a real fan. Not only are you not a real fan, you're not a real man. You're not a real man fan, by God.

Now have another shot of Jack, stand up and scream and punch the person behind you in the face.

i love this team and attending games is like going to church for me, but that damn security they have up there are about as rude as you can get. Thats the only thing i ever dread about going to the games. My nephew was with us this past saturday (he's 2 years old) and my DA forgot the blanket in the car because I didnt think about how windy it was going to be. I had just handed my ticket to the lady when i looked at my girlfriend and told her I forgot his blanket and was going to run and get it. The woman taking tickets looked at me and said, "if you do so, you will have to buy another ticket before i can let you in." to make a long story short i was like wtf? and used my jacket instead

You bought a seat, not a stand. Its that way for a reason.

One day young buck, you'll be 40 and your body will break. Not on purpose, just by age. Back injuries, bad knees, broken bones. It'll happen. When it happens to you, you'll understand.

You'll be the age of those around you one day and karma is a b___h.

You were supposed to report to Carousel for renewal over 30 years ago, when your life clock started flashing red. Please remain where you are. We will be sending a Sandman for you immediately.

Who doesn't? However, when you're up 4 TD's on a team like Buffalo, you can probably take a little break from being obnoxious.

The thing that I think is being overlooked is that it was the 2nd/3rd play of the game. We had just kicked off, they ran 1 offensive play. Then the 2nd offensive play was a run and that's when the usher came and said what he said. It's not like half the 1st quarter or half the game had gone by, it was literally the 3rd play of the game lol.

When everybody stands, I stand. When people in the row in front of me stand, and I can't see, I stand up so I can see too. It doesn't bother me, but I do think you get in to the game more when you're standing up for some reason. Maybe that's just me though.

People have told me that countless times and I reply "if you want to sit go sit on your ass at home because real fans make noise and get pumped" I hate fans who sit there and is silent for the whole game (mostly the old people) just saying...
