I don't think so to either question. 420p or 740p. Why not utilize 1080i at least. Im fairly FO3 was 1080i.

Been playing this all day today. Forgot how much this game can just draw me in and make me completely forget about everything else.

So the story is pretty solid?

So far.

I've gotten a little bit into the main story line. They do a good job of incorporating some of the side missions into the main story line too.

******Slight Spoiler********

I'm at the point where you finally make it into New Vegas to find the guy you are looking for. At the main gate, though, are the robot security guards that demand you either pay 2000 caps or present a "valid passport" to pass through the gate. I have 1550... Pretty annoying.

I played for about an hour today. I really liked fo3 so I had to get this. I like it but it does have some of the freeze up problems that the fo3 goty edition had.

Just got into Vegas. The game really, and I mean really, opens up. You get about three or four quests all at the same time.

rented this tonight. it took me about an hour to get into it but after that it became addictive just like fallout 3 was. has anyone gotten to the part yet where you go to nipton (enroute to novac) right after you rescue the sheriff? that town was a complete creepfest.

Put in about an hour on this last night. Its hard for me to get into a game like this, but for what it is, its a very good game. Maybe my interest will grow for it the more I play

Did you make it out of goodsprings in that hour? It took me about that long.

Once you make it out of there and make your way to primm or wherever else you go it picks up.

Edit: Just read your former post.

It sounds like you're primarily sticking to the main quest. Let yourself get distracted by some of the side quests. That's where I think the real entertainment is.

No I didnt make it that far. I tend to take forever with these type of games

I had a friend suggest fallout 3. I played for a while and swore it was just not my type of game. I never ventured far enough to grasp what the hype was all about. I picked it up and tried it again, and have been a fan of it since.

it probably took me arouind 2 hours or more to get the main quests knocked out at goodsprings because i kept trying to level up to convince all the townspeople to fight the powder gangers.

My friend was the same way. I got him drinking and forced him to play it for 2 hours, and then he loved it.

Fallout 3 surprised me. No tellin how many hours I played of that. I love all the alternate endings. If u played fallout 3 a good bit then new vegas should be all the same. In the way you look at it its same game new locations, new endings. I bought medal of honor and new vegas tonight. Medal of honor is a lot more than I expected the campaign is really good. But still fallout will always be the best to me
