Fallout 4

I tried to read up on it but didn't find anything definitive on supply lines. All I know for sure is that it connects A to B, so that A has access to B's supplies. But is the reverse true? Does B have access to A because of A's supply line or does it have to have its own? also what about a series of connected settlements if it is a two way street? Would A have access to C if C is only connected to B?

a quick goggle only said A to B, but didn't rule anything else out. just curious if anyone had better info.

From my exp, as long as supply lines are connected in one place, supplies flow freely to all.

My lines look like a road - there are no multiple connections even though I dispatch all trade runners from Sanctuary

I gave in and picked it up. Any advice?

don't get intimidated. try new stuff and explore and talk to people. Not sure about the main storyline because I still haven't advanced it but there are a lot gems going on in the game. NPCs that have character, environments that effect play style, I still won't cross a marsh, and cool weapons worth trying at least once.

Much appreciated!

Had my first run in with the deathclaw. Yikes

The one in Concord isn't bad because you have the minigun, power armor, and the cars to blow up to damage it. For any other ones crippling its leg in VATS will help you kite it. But yeah, if it gets to you and you don't have power armor, you're dead in two hits early in the game.

I would quicksave frequently to ensure you don't lose progress while you're exploring. There are some nasty creatures out there that can kill you easily.

don't spread yourself too thin with skill points - they are not all created equal.

Charisma is almost a must have to fully take advantage of town building - work your way up to local leader asap.

Specialize in only one weapon for starters - pistols and semi auto rifles are the most diverse and will give you the most options.

Don't be afraid to retreat - you can and will get in over your head.

Use your power armor sparingly - for tough missions or bosses only - until you collect enough fusion cores.

loot EVERYTHING and save it in your base for building/modding - especially be on the lookout for rare materials like screws, nuclear material, etc

almost at lvl 41, just need to get my science up to 4 and I can finish my power armor upgrades. Really want to try out the jumpjets on my X-01. which will be fully upgraded. I am starting to have a collection problem with power armor. no where to store it. got a couple not on racks.

At this point I've looted enough overpowered legendary weapons that I don't even need to use power armor.

I'm guessing it will come in handy when I finally make it to the Glowing Sea for the rad resist.

Curious what level of difficulty you guys play on and if/when you bumped it up.

I'm on normal right now in the mid 20's - things are starting to get alittle too easy and I might bump it up soon.

I do this will all Bethesda games; even Skyrim on expert became easy once you obtain the right gear.

I doubt im the only one but ive been hooked on building settlements. Sanctuary mostly at the moment

That's what I'm most excited to do when I get this game. I love playing games where I can build and customize stuff. One of the reasons I still play Minecraft from time to time.

Post apocalyptic thoughts: Day 65.... I sustain myself on Squirrel bits and Iguana on a Stick.... yet I've seen zero squirrels or iguanas....

My settlement at The Castle attempted a mutiny last night; two malcontents attacked me unprovoked. When I defended myself, the whole camp jumped me!

I retreated and waited for the threat level to go down. Snuck back in at night and tossed a frag grenade into the room they all sleep in; killing about 80 percent of the population.

Message sent on what happens to traitors!!

Unsure if this was a bug or if The Institute placed a synth or two in my ranks; either way it was surprising and hilarious.

Finally collected all the magazines, bobbleheads and hit rank 50 and still havnt completed the main story.

Building up settlements is fun for a few hours. After that you jus use the other settlements to lure settlers in to send to your main settlements. I have 3 maxed out right now with 2 at 100 happiness. Abernathy farms is probably my favorite settlement along with sanctuary and nordhagen.

If your really into the settlement thing make sure you get your charisma all the way up as well as cap collector and local leader. Brings in a fair amount of bottlecaps. Also run supply lines if your focusing on one or two settlements.

I have the jet pack and every time im in a settlement and use it they all start shooting at me. You can wait 48 hours and go back like nothin happened.

For anyone who doesn't know, you can cheat the settlement size limit by dropping a bunch of weapons on the ground and then going into the build mode and storing them in the workshop. Then take them out and repeat. The size meter will get a bit smaller with each one you pick up.

Never even heard about this happening. Was the happiness low?
