I don't like to post reviews of a band/album until I have the chance to really hear them. I drove along the lake today with the top down and lost myself in the EITS album I downloaded. I actually had to catch myself in a state of reflection and near trance as my ears were awakened to a new genre. I guess the nearest I've come to this kind of music was Steve Vai's Passion and Warfare.
Skeptics will wonder where the lyrics are. Those who appreciate the emotion of music will insist that vocals would ruin the artists' willingness to pour out their souls through their hands.
As a musician who tends to (at times, over-) incorportate my own feelings into what I play and write, I'll vouch that this is the real deal.
Thanks so much for the introduction, Dickens. Happy listening.
