Explosion in Boston?

Focus seems to be on the male in torn black clothing running from the scene.

That still seems so strange to me. To be running from the location of the bomb immediately after the explosion would mean he somehow avoided getting hurt. And the video I've seen is of a guy in shorts and a tee-shirt -- how does he have that on when everyone else is wearing jackets? So bizarre.

so basically the media gave the suspect/s a head start...

I speculated earlier they were trying to flush someone out with the report of being close.

If I had the Memphis house under surveillance where I thought the letters came from, and that there might be a connection to the bombings, I might let it out that the bombing suspect was in custody. See what the people in the house in Memphis did.

The video from Lord/Taylor shows him on phone while placing second bomb.1st goes off momments later, as he walks away from second.

When they saw he was on cell, he was busted.

From the video I saw, he looks to be the only one running. Everyone else is either hurt or in shock.

Individuals react to getting their pants blown off by explosions in all types of different ways. Running in fear is one of those ways.

Yeah, but running from the explosion? How does he not get hurt if he's standing right there?

Or was he just nearby and happens to be running through the aftermath?

The only reference to a person running away from the scene is a video with a guy that had his pants ripped to shreds by the blast.

Its not a suicide bombing. Why would he put the thing down and then stand there and wait for it to blow up to run?

Does not make sense.
