I loved the offense that Trey, Jorel, and Cortland brought into play. But, all three have much room for improvement on defense.

They're amateurs. All amateurs have room for improvement on defense.

Looks like Joyce's gamble on himself and go back to school will pay off. Turned down 6 digits and I'm thinking he is somebodies 2nd pick this year where the slots are between $1m - $1.9m Picked up his degree as well.

C: Dickey/Austin peay transfer
Dh: Prob rotation of Dickey, Backus, Tears
Outfielders: Stephenson, Scott, Backus, Chambers, Booker.
Deep bench where juco/incoming recruits could push for more playing time.
Absolutely Loaded again, hopefully have that same nasty mentality that keeps everyone crying.

D1 always puts a lot of emphasis on returning pitching when doing their early projections.
With our proven rotation and bullpen, I'd be very surprised if we don't have to wear the #1 before our name from the start of the season.
