Kentucky offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Randy Sanders suffered a broken arm Saturday during the Wildcats’ 31-27 win over Louisville.

Sanders broke his arm trying to brace his fall after a collision when Kentucky’s Derrick Locke was run out of bounds on a kickoff return in the fourth quarter.
Sanders, a Morristown native and former Tennessee quarterback and assistant coach, was taken for X-rays after the game.

“Sometimes when you think you’re still young and quick, you can’t get out of the way,’’ Kentucky coach Rich Brooks said. “It’s a good lesson for everybody on the sideline. . . . It’s a dangerous place.’’

Nasty hit he took. The announcers were joking about it at first, because he popped right back up, but I guess he was hurt a little more than he thought at first.

Was I the only one that noticed that the commentators had no idea that it was Randy Sanders, ex-OC at UT and QB coach, a fairly high profile guy as far as UK football goes, who went down?

Nice game prep, fellows.

Yeah I noticed that too. Otherwise, I enjoyed that Matvick and Infante were pretty complimentary of UK.

That's a harsh reaction to a Vol loss. I mean, we were a 30 point dog. Chill out RS.

One of them was completely incapable of correctly pronouncing "Louisville." That in itself merits a failing grade.
