Even More Obamacare Follies

The "unaffordable" care act was never about insuring people. It's about redistribution and subsidizing my neighbors insurance...it's like being charged to wipe your neighbors ass !

Apparently they were included in the extension to Oct 2014. But, like many, people living in US territories were an afterthought in this whole process. It is almost as if the Administration didn't know we had people living outside of the lower 48.

Guam has a few months to implement Obamacare | Pacific Daily News | guampdn.com

From the head guy at the top (Obama) of this Administration who thinks that there are 57 States that make up the USA.....they didn't realize that there are people living outside of the lower 48. It just goes to show how incompetent Obama's Administration is in their quest in leadership skills & trying to govern the nation.

The Obamacare surge is underway. Millions of Americans signing up for insurance that they don't want.

Obamacare just might net its 7 million sign-ups

All those 1.1 million people that HAS signed up by FORCE will really be hollering & screaming when their personal information was hacked & stolen & used to deplete their bank accounts because of NO security was put into the system. I'm sure Barry cares less if that happens. He just wants this to work for the better of his sorry ass name. And from what I've heard, the government is not responsible to let those know that were hacked & stolen so it's hope for survival & a prayer that they get lucky & not have that problem.

There are going to be a lot of changes once this thing kicks in. I don't think it will doom the law, but from what I understand, the three month grace period just isn't workable.

The key is, how many of these people will continue to pay the premiums after their pre-existing conditions are fixed? Why not let it laps until you need it again?

Sadly, not every pre-existing condition can be "fixed."

I just paid my monthly premium, just like last month, and have a note to see the doctor next month. Apparently the system hasn't imploded yet.

Love this quote

"The fact that they have about 2 million enrolled is not that far off from 3.3 million."

Really? With this logic 4.25 million sign ups = 7 million sign ups...

Missing from this piece too is the impact of the nearly 6 million people who lost insurance this year; many due to ACA. Does the 7 million really mean "new to insurance" or just number of people enrolled in total (e.g. net newly insured of a couple million)

True, not all can but how many people needing a surgery or some other procedure will sign up, get treated and quit paying the premiums? I'd guess many.

Oregon Mother: I Can’t Afford Obamacare For Myself, 1-Year-Old Son « CBS Seattle

One Oregon mother says that she is unable to afford health insurance for her and her 18-month-old son because it’s too expensive.

“I’ve been a cheerleader for the Affordable Care Act since I heard about it and I assumed that it was designed for people in my situation,” Holly, a freelance yoga instructor, told KOIN. “I was planning on using the Affordable Care Act and I had done the online calculator in advance to make sure I was going to be able to afford it.”

She was planning on us picking up her ACA tab but now that we arent, she doesnt like it.

Oregon Medicaid enrollees 7% more likely to visit ER than uninsured.

Study: Expanding Medicaid doesn’t reduce ER trips. It increases them.

The study, published today in the journal Science, finds that adult Medicaid beneficiaries rely on emergency rooms about 40 percent more than similar uninsured adults.

"When you cover the uninsured, emergency room use goes up by a large magnitude," said Amy Finkelstein, a health economist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology who served as a lead investigator on the study, in an MIT press statement accompanying the study.

The lies and misinformation that sold this thing are unprecedented.

What's the lie?

And what's so horrible about Americans getting health care treatment?

Oh I forgot--they're POORS! They deserve to suffer.

Hey I'll agree to pay for their insurance but I'm going to need their social security number
