Even More Obamacare Follies

bad law is bad law no matter who proposed it. It is a terrible piece of legislation that gets worse every day. It also costs way more than we can afford.

the author also mistakes high deductible plans coupled with an FSA or HSA and what Obamacare is offering.

but why should it stop the left from defending the ACA with a never ending parade of strawmen?

You mean like that the enrollment has exploded in recent weeks and is growing proportionally at a much higher pace than Romney care did, and further that at the current pace it will easily meet the projected numbers? Or, do you mean that the fantasy of it failing is so clung to by the GOP that they'll pronounce it has failed, even well before the facts are in?

If so, you are dead on.

without security it is a failure. Enough people opt out and it's a failure

truth is it was not likely to succeed anyways and if it did we would go broke

By enrollment do you mean "added to cart" or people that have paid their first premium? One isn't real & the other has at least a 10% fail rate.

Anyone with a brain wouldn't join OBozocare because of the security risk. Might as well take your drivers license, birth certificate and social security card and throw it out the window and see who steals it first.

For reals - expected better from Ezra Klein; he's usually more careful.

High deductibles vs high deductible with HSAs are two different things.

He also omits the fact that the ACA high deductible plans are still packed with mandatory coverages of all sorts of crap people may opt out of in what Rs proposed AND still have high premiums.

BS argument.

aren't you the same poster who believes the administration's employment numbers, but is silent when those numbers are revised downward?

You're also the same poster who will start a thread about "plunging" gas prices then disappear when the prices creep right back up to where they were.

I'm sure you'll pardon me if I call BS on the claims you've made above.

Prices are already creepin back up. There is a uncounted unemployed in this country. I believe 2 out of 5 are out of work still. I don't think there will be enough young people who want to pay into ponzicare. Young pay for the dying old, F that!
