I've posted it a couple of times. They have a written plan that addresses the uninsured and pre-existing conditions. It may have even passed the House (can't recall).
Will it work? I don't know but criticizing it's efficacy is entirely different than saying it doesn't exist (which is what Dems and Obama are doing). They are lying.
Google is your friend gramps.
I did 69.. I came up with sites such as :
GOP must stop gloating, start offering health-care alternative
Boehner Pressed on Obamacare Alternative - ABC News
PolitiFact | Republicans have proposed many solutions to control health care costs and improve quality, Ron Johnson says
BHam has a better Google that I do. He posted some good links showing the GOP alternative. :good!:
I propose getting some leaders with the fortitude to sell the case to the public, to tie this around the dems necks, and to use that momentum to make it a priority in their terms of office. Well have to displace a lot of the rot currently in the system.
Nothing wrong with obstructing crappy laws. Compromise for its own sake is a losing strategy. In life and in legislation.
Also hilarious that you point to the tight side of the aisle for these lunatics. Open your eyes...they've been running the country since 06. You like it?

I would have to stand by what Obama himself said...
That it won't be repealed while he is President.
I agree 100%
It has many problems and is overall a bad law. One has to take a realistic look and realize regardless of how bad they may hate the law, it is law and here to stay at least for the next few years. That is why I keep calling on Congress to try to better the law. Congress voting to repeal it 40+ times has been a waste of time and taxpayer money.

Terrible Law- would be a bad political move to make it a good law...That make plenty of sense, hog.
They have been right that it was a terrible law. What makes you think they are wrong that it is unfixable without complete repeal or overhaul? What has Obama done to make you think he will in anyway support any major changes offered by republicans?
The plan, which is mostly the work of Representatives Phil Roe and Steve Scalise, repeals President Barack Obamas health-care law. It replaces the unlimited tax break for employer-provided health insurance with a new tax deduction -- $7,500 for individuals or $20,000 for families -- to purchase health insurance, whether through an employer or on their own. It would let insurers sell policies across state lines. And it would put $25 billion into high-risk pools to help people who would still be unable to buy insurance.
Yeah because the MSM would twist it to be the dems that fixed it and blame the GOP somehow. Just let them sit on it. Let the dems own it.
I'm fine with doing away with the employer-provided health insurance model (since I already have to buy my own). But if is the actual GOP "plan," they shouldn't be giving us all this spin about keeping your doctor and so forth. Because if this was adopted people would just as surely be switching their plans and doctors as they are today.
As for the buying out-of-state insurance, how can that not be anything less than a gutting of state insurance regulation? If you want to have a de facto national insurance coverage threshold, set it at the federal level, not at the state that allows the skimpiest coverage.
On the first issue I see no problem with criticizing the POTUS for lying about what his law did. If the GOP is also claiming their plan would allow you to keep your existing plan/doc then they too should be called for misrepresentation
