What amazes me is the mentally deficient waste of oxygen known as the average American can't figure out why health care and education are so expensive -- and why government schools are so terrible. It's because they're run by the government. Government removes the incentive to deliver a quality product. Quality products at affordable prices are delivered by the entrepreneur who is motivated by profit. To make a profit, he must deliver to his/her customers two things: QUALITY and AFFORDABILITY. By subsidizing education and health care, the government drive costs through the roof. All of those costs should be coming down. It should be dirt cheap to buy health insurance and pay tuition. Where did that 1+ trillion in student loan debt come from?

Hey LG, why is this so hard for people like you to figure out? Anyone with half a brain should know that with government SUBSIDIZING health insurance, those premiums will go up. It's one of the laws of economics.

You need to lay down the pipe and back far far away. The median income in the USA in 2013 was $51.017 and you are saying they are paying 50,000 for health insurance.
