Way to much back slapping and talky talky after only one game. Lets beat a few more teams before we start gloating and declaring how we're back. We should not even pay attention to some talking head saying we are the 3rd best team in the SEC at this point.

This was ACC game, we get too excited by this and it destroys us, it was not even an SEC game, it means something...because of the change, but season wise it's really nothing........i hope to god the team doesn't get all a** slappin happy, like they've arrived yet, until we get into SEC wins it don't mean a thing, and until we start planting top SEC teams in the ground, we're playing like some "other" school....not UT.

They are a good team. It's a great win. Wouldn't be a great win if we won by a last second field goal, but we controlled the game from the get go. No reason to down play this win. We are the first team to exploit their so called great secondary, and we made their so called first round QB look pedestrian. Plus the most rushing yards any of their backs got was 53 yards. We owned them.

I didn't get to see the game when it first aired because I was involved in a scavanger hunt, I'll watch replay on ESPN3.
Was this one of those games where the game was no where near as close as the Final Score would lead a person to believe?

all they did was show NCS highlights for 2 hours before the game,and maybe a 20 second clip about Dooley being on the hot seat...They were really building them up.they do the same thing with all the Big 10 over rated teams.

We had a long time in coming victory over a good team. Let's take it one at a time and we'll have the best season we've had in 4 years. If our D can get the communications down by mid season and our running attack becomes a weapon when it's needed, we could have a very good year. Florida looks to be bad offensively and it's hard to tell about UGA yet with the players they have sitting out, but we are looking like a team that can play with anyone in the conference this year. We can put up points which will give us a chance with anybody including the tide. Cheers to Orange for a good start and playing for 60 minutes. My glasses maybe Orange tinted, but I'll drink to that!

ESPN does the popular thing. For the past 5 years it has been to beat up on UT. Rightfully deserved for the most part. If we keep winning they will be on the band wagon.

Who gives a crap what any pundit thinks about UT right now. We'll find out whether we're legit or not in a few short weeks with the florida and georgia games. Let's hope everybody is singing our praises then.

Probably need to contain the enthusiasm. Last year we beat up on a Cincy team that ended up the season pretty good while we finished 5-7. I too believe the Vols looked impressive but will contain my excitement until a couple more games.
