I just turned the sound off tonight, too many announcers and way too much commentary.

I have not had sound on in years, John Ward spoiled the Baby Boomers, I watch the game and know what happening don't listen to Dickie V's or Jimmy D's
just useless horses**t banter...………………...….GO VOLS

Guys, we need to keep winning. Not just this season but also beyond. At one point, they didn’t like or respect Gonzaga but winning solved all of that
Years past, they did like Miami Hurricanes but when they started winning big, they jumped on board
It may not be an anti-Tennessee thing. They liked Pat & it seems they like Barnes
Winning will cure all of that. They look at us as having a softer schedule, then when being challenged by Ky, we lose. They don’t necessarily see us as serious

This
and maybe in their pre broadcast meetings they are told to talk-up certain teams that help their bottom line. There are some that just like teams more, simply because they either played for them or where in that certain teams conference.
They intentionally try to pit conferences against each other, it's the WWE mentality that brings in higher ratings in March madness or in football in otherwise meaningless Bowl games.

As bad as the cheerleading is, they spend way too much time blathering on about anything BUT the game in progress. And why three talking heads? It tuns into a really dumb "can you top this?" contest

....................And Sportscenter posted Admiral's dunk on FB with the caption, "this might be the dunk of the year." Has hell frozen over?

Slow down folks.
This was a really good dunk that came at an exciting time, but be realistic with yourselves. In the dark corners of our minds drag up some of the dunks you remember seeing this year by our guys and many other players across the country. I think you will have to admit it was likely a 7 or 8 on a scale of 1-10. Don't get me wrong, it came a the "most very bestes time" in the game.
The sports channels have blown it up to create more interest in the up coming game with KY game. (you know this game will be competing for viewers of championship game in several conferences)
We have seen better by our guys this season and guys all across the county also.

I will
Say in the game preview for KY UT they said KY beat us bad in Rupp and then KY couldn’t score in Knoxville. Not that UT beat them but it’s all KY not scoring. I will also add that this might be the first time I’ve had sportcenter on in almost 3 years. And all the guys on game day said we don’t deserve a number 1 seed even if we win out. But if Ky wins they get one. Hell, Reece Davis has Duke 1 overall. They love them some ACC

Because you are a Tennessee fan and it just seems so. They don't really hate us. This complex some UT fans have is silly.

If what you say is true, in preparation for today's game on ESPN I need to lay on my couch and get some professional advice... I'm calling Bob Newhart right now.
