ESPN - Sources: Tennessee Volunteers check in with Jon Gruden, Chicago Bears' Lovie Smith
Here's the text on the Chris Mortensen "report".
Where did you do your research? According to their stars on Rivals, UC's recruiting has gotten BETTER under Kelly.
One upside to recruiting at UC, though, is that the Cincinnati-area is very rich in talent. But, the obvious downside is the presence of a certain Big 10 school about 100 miles to the north.

Typo. That was directed toward Jewbaccah not you.Sorry.
I have reviewed his recruiting at Cincy compared to what it was before and already know he is a disaster nothing else is necessary but that fact he is a prick certifies it.
Clearly you haven't because the recruiting has improved dramtically since he got there. At the least there is nothing so damning about it as to discount Kelly as a sure fire disaster. Lol, get a grip.
You are defending Al Groh and his mediocre results LOL. His results are worse than Kelly's and he has that can't miss NFL resume that you love so much not to mention a Virginia program that is easier to recruit at (regardless of tougher academic standards) than a dumpy Cincinatti school that was in the C-USA 5 years ago.
I was gonna respond to the posts you did and say the exact same thing you said. Glad I continued to read the thread before I posted my thought. :good!:no he won't. Being an athletic director of a major university means a lot more than just a football program, no matter how strong those football traditions reign supreme. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Mike Hamilton only has one blunder as athletic director and that was last year's extension. It should also be noted that some have said that was an essential verbal agreement for reaching the SECCG. Every single other move has turned to gold. His fund raising abilities alone attest to that. For proof see all the new facilities and facility upgrades since his arrival.
There's a whole lot I don't know about, but I do know how management of sports franchises or athletic departments work. Hamilton will not be fired because a coach fails his first year here. If he is, the entire board of directors need to be canned because no half witted AD prospect or better would dare set foot on Rocky Top.
According to ESPNs website under college football Tennessee has gauged the interest of not only Jon Gruden but also Lovie Smith. ESPN - Sources: Tennessee Volunteers check in with Jon Gruden, Chicago Bears' Lovie Smith:cray:
