Penn State hasn't even played Wisconsin. They have played 3 ranked teams so far and lost 2 of them. The one win being over Iowa in a close game.
Played#2 tighter than EVERYONE thought they would. Lost a 1 possession away game to a current top 10 team. We beat Kentucky by 1 yard...and they don't have a QB. Dare I list our scores vs ranked teams?

OSU has a functioning defense, LSU doesn't, and Bama gives up a ton of points. On a neutral site, OSU beats either team. We are improved, but not on the level of Penn State or Michigan, and OSU has already manhandled one, and will take care of the other next week. We'll just have to agree to disagree.

Don’t mistake what I’m saying as thinking we would beat Michigan or Penn State. I’ve already said in this thread or another I think we would be double digit dogs to either one. I still think that there is plenty of talent on that LSU D, and if given 3 weeks to prepare they could actually resemble an actual Defense.
As you said, we can agree to disagree . Either way it’s going to be fun to watch .

I'm not arguing for either side here. My post was just pointing out Penn State had not beat Wisconsin. That simply wasn't correct. And I thought the Ohio State game played out like I expected it to. Those are usually tight games. The score could have been much worse though. OSU dominated the game physically but turnovers kept PSU in it. I really don't think we would beat Penn State, but I wouldn't mind playing them just to see. Would be fun in my opinion.

Michigan and Ohio state are the only two teams with any real speed in that conference. Tennessee best the absolute hell out of Iowa when they were supposed to be so good one year. They were slow as molasses on a cold day.

Penn State has speed all over the field. Very athletic team.

I wouldn't mind playing them either. And my comments aren't meant to imply PSU as God's gift. I just think we as a fanbase need to slow down a bit after beating a handful of absolute disasters.

You have absolutely zero clue.

Well, you all are going to get a chance to see it. Put your panties on and crawl under the bed with your teddy bear, because we ain't playing Indiana or Illinois or whatever little kindergartner you ladies are wanting to beat up for style points.

This isn't the 94-95 Vols. Let's just hope for a solid Bowl Game and a win for 8-5.
UT would be a double digit (2 td) dog to both of them. I don't want any part of them this year. Baby steps.

You remember 5 weeks ago when we had Alabama on the ropes at THEIR place, and only a bone-headed idiotic play by our QB cost us a chance to beat them? Remember how alive it made you feel when your little raisin testicles dropped into their sack in the third quarter and became large, plump and full of testosterone? Don't you want another shot at a team of that pedigree this year, maybe to see what might have happened if we had played 4 quarters against a good team? Stop acting like we don't belong on the field with these "elite" teams. We've already proved we can stand with them and trade blows this year.

With the way started the season (a lot of weeks off), and the way we start games after bye-weeks, some of you want Michigan or Penn State after 3 weeks off? Hahaha... I mean, I WANT to beat them in a bowl game, too! Seioursly though - hope we win - hope the seniors go out on a high note.
