Enough To Keep Dooley Around?

We have 5 very winnable games left:

Mississippi State
Troy
Missouri
Vanderbilt
Kentucky

If we play with the heart we did today, and our defense can get better as the season goes along, we could finish up 8-4. Would that + a bowl victory be enough to keep Dooley around?

While it does not feel like it...8-5 is possible.

I personally think So Carolina is "winnable". They are weak compared to UGA offensively and don't have nearly the defensive talent level from 1-11. If we can block the DE, we can play with them.

South Carolina is certianly winnable after the effort I saw today. 9-3, but I'ma say 8-4.

The Dooley Way tells me there will be too much of a hangover from this game to get a win in Starkville.

IF Sal can fogure out how to stop some or two of those ugly end around TD runs there are some games ahead that this team can win, and even dominate.

He needs 9 wins to stay. Even if he finishes out at 8 - 5, he will be 0 -ffer against the top schools in the east and west IMO

South Carolina should be a win at this point. I think our team can do this. Our team fought for 4 quarters. Execution wasn't there at the end, but the fight was.

To answer the question, let's see how the rest of the season goes, a decision to fire a coach can't be made after taking the 5th ranked team in the nation to the wire, but we could end up getting slaughtered in Starkville, who knows?

No, and we won't finish 8-4 either. Dooley is a loser.

All i wanted was a competative game and I got one, couldnt be happier w/ the teams effort . Just came up short
