If we play with the heart we did today, and our defense can get better as the season goes along, we could finish up 8-4. Would that + a bowl victory be enough to keep Dooley around?

If he wins all five - no question he will return. Whether or not thats a good thing, I dont know. WE need to beat a top ten team to prove that things are headed in the right direction. Beating up on Ga State,TRoy, etc doesnt mean that much. Unlike SC fans, we are used to winning SEC titles here, at least every few years.

It will be a very bad thing. Easy schedule and consistent failing against FL, GA, SC LSU, ALA, etc. Not sure why a 8 win season against all the easy teams will save him.

Ga just had a bad day. They have plenty of future NFL guys and I think they can beat Bama or LSU .. Both of the Jones Boys are future first round picks, although they didnt play like that today. I think it was hard for them to focus on us after watching tape of the Fla game. They can be as good as they want to be. Maybe they are lazy.

The Dooley Way tells me there will be too much of a hangover from this game to get a win in Starkville.

I could see there being a hangover if we didn't have a bye week. I think the players come out and get a W in two weeks after falling short.
