Energy of this program and its supporters

...for at least 15 years now and counting.

Okay in all seriousness, perhaps some of us need to read up a little on quantum physics to begin to understand the impact of the mindset around this program and it’s fanbase on the outcomes we’re seeing.

You wanna lose more? Focus on losses, negatives, past hurt, and fear of getting hopes up.
You wanna turn things around and be Tennessee again? Then get into that vibe and don’t let anything change that.

But then again, that’s just woo-woo, pure scientific fact and immutable law of the universe. By all means, continue in the current cycle of despair and expect change if you’d rather. ;)

That’s all. Oh, and buck Fama. :D

Vols fans are just tired of bull shat football from piss poor teams and lack of effort
2 decades worth and counting

I was referencing the all-around energy on the part of anyone associated with Tennessee football--staff, players, alumni, fans. It doesn't have to do with UT fans not being supportive...their consistent loyalty boggles the mind decade after decade.

I just think that in order to change anything two things must be true:
a) You believe that it can be changed.
b) You're willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen.

When both of those things come together for this program things will be just fine. :)

I think BVS, apathy, and JG's play this year has pretty much killed any energy that was left. Unfortunately, I will still probably watch the massacre Saturday... maybe not though.

I thought nothing I said or did had any effect on the team...I distinctly remember that being suggested. Somebody should have told us sooner to apply SCIENCE to the problem.

The original post is fairy dust, unicorns, and happy thoughts....not science.

Absurd.

TN basketball has not been great overall through the years. They finally hire a great B-ball coach and poof all of a sudden we are pulling in 5* recruits and expecting to beat Big Blue 50% or more of the time. It is not rocket surgery you need a great coach to win and so far Pruitt has not proved to be a great HEAD football coach. He is one of the best D-coordinators in the country but that has not shown itself to be the case as head ball coach.

Is there another top 15 all time program that has been down for as long as Tennessee?? With the possible exception of USCw I don’t think so.

Quantum physics mixed with football. Yeah, that’ll work. Maybe we could hire Sheldon from Big Bang Theory as coach.

I’ve attended at least 2 games under every coach going back to Majors, except Pruitt. I’ve never liked the hire, nor wanted to put the time/effort/money into going to Knoxville to see the product he puts on the field.

Quantum physics??!! We didn’t even know our QB’s name until he had been in the program for 9 years, and you expect us to read up on quantum physics?!
😁

This goes for booing JG. Or any of our players. Booing isn’t going to make them any better and if anything adds to the problem. It’s a bad look for the fans

we have waaay more history and traditions than CU

Both us and CU won a Natty in the 90s. Both had a shot at another one in early 00s and have done little since. They almost hired Butch and we almost hired Mel Tucker...

The only difference is our fans still care and are willing to provide the resources to field a high end program

I agree with you wholeheartedly Jarrett. The players don't deserve to be booed ever...they are simply put in their position by the coach. That's who is really responsible.

Don't forget Sheriron Jones who left UT for Colorado and returned to UT.

Whats the alternative?

Fire the fans? Relive the glory days of Tyler Bray and a functional offense?

And I must have missed the chapter on telekinesis in my physics classes LOL.

We aren't even competing with mediocre teams. We get blown out by any team with a half decent defense. Get a grip on reality dude

Lol. I prefer the philosophical route... If JG throws a pick six and no one is in the stands to see it, is it still a pick six?
