Empty Neyland Movement (#uncluttervolnation)

The NFL kneeling is working out real well isnt it ?

I didn’t say all protests work. But the civil rights movement, several independence movements in multiple countries across the globe (U.S., India, several South American countries), etc. Many protests have worked, some are dumb, some aren’t.

You're probably right about attendance, but my point stands. There were plenty of empty seats in Gainesville when we played...before the wheels fell off of our respective seasons.

I believe this so-called movement has good intentions, but it won't have nearly the economic impact some folks think it will. It hurts the local businesses more than anything.

i agree with you on the TV revenue and local business angle. of course, it will only hurt so much as this thing really...takes off. and i noticed the empty seats at the swamp for that game, and was a little surprised tbh.

but if there's only 40 or 50k, or less, in the stadium saturday night, then all i can say is...kudos. :hi:

i still have my doubts, still knowing that the attendance will be low regardless.

The protests that hurt more than the cause are the ones Im talking about

I completely agree that this “movement” is based in delusion, and will have little to no bearing on anything besides the egos of those doing it.

I don't have season tickets or a dog in this fight, however the optics of fans not showing up on national television will have more impact than the actual revenue numbers. Whoever calls the game for the network would probably have some comments on missing fans.

When your foundation is not solid you can only go through so many temporary fixes before you have to tear it down and build it back where it is stable.

It is very inconvenient and a stress to everyone involved. But you know your doing it to provide a strong house that you can be proud of.

Empty Neyland Movement is clearing the foundation letting the powers that be know. We as fans expect a strong house to be built. Not this indecisive actions by Currie & higher ups that have got TENNESSEE to the LAUGHING stock of college football.

It sends them a message. We are a loud united voice and fix the foundation now!

And to still support a coach to walk the sidelines who has....

1. Called a player at Tennessee a tradior because he wouldn't help cover up a possible RAPE!
2. Allow players to play with brain injuries.

Should be enough forget EVERYTHING else and there is a ton
To demand him be removed for the players

It is supposed to be a cold night and the South has fair weather football fans - so take that into account -- it showed last Sat at Kentucky

How are you letting the AD know? Did you purchase season tickets this year? If so, you already gave them your money.

The only thing you might (I say this lightly) do is cause an impact on how recruits and outsiders view our fan base.

I hope it is her calling the game

then fans at home can boycott the audio too

yeah, and i doubt seriously it'll be along the lines "good for them, that'll show that UT administration! i don't know why other fan bases don't do the same?"

It's a statement of do this right fix the foundation, remove a coach that has covered up so much, hurt players in numerous ways.

If you don't this is your future.

The players play the game.

They build bleachers & have stadium expansions TO MAKE $$$$

FSU has been playing with a half empty stadium the last few games, but Jimbo fisher is going nowhere -- it just shows FSU fans are bandwagon louts

currie's been here 6 months, and i promise you anything and everything CBJ has said in front of a mic over the past 5 years has done more to our comedic value on the internet than anything Currie has, or hasn't done yet.

go back further, and Kiffin leaving us at the alter, Dooley and his orange pants, stool on the sideline and rommel commentary (and the results on the field to boot) have had way more impact on that perception.

so, again, i say if you really want to put your money where your mouths are, don't donate next year, and give up your season tickets. and get 10 or 20k of your like minded folks to follow suit......but don't get mad when you get replaced. you can sit at home like you want.

until then.........you don't matter.

and you're right, it does send a message. but i assure it's not the one you think it is.

Oh the announcers are going to have PLENTY to talk about if Currie continues to let this dumpster fire known as Butch Jones continue to burn.

Don't forget ESPN has questioned ANY logic to leaving Butch Jones in for a few weeks now.

THEY WILL BE ALL OVER so much wrong at Tennessee if Butch is walking the sideline on Saturday.

I personally believe after the Trustee meeting today at the VERY LEAST we will see Butch Jones suspended pending an investigation into the concussion issue.

It gives the university some coverage on a possible lawsuit, and gives the university a save face out to empty Neyland Movement.

AND I AM 100% good on that take the out. Don't bow to the pressure.

Just get rid of the fool now! Stop hurting the players &a fans.

Nobody has to claim a victory. We all loose with Butch here.

Nobody wins just remove him for the players!
