Yeah, empty neyland had zero effect.....on anything. Well unless you count embarrassing the fanbase, it did do that.
The great thing about EmptyNeyland...the threat itself can make things happen. And it can be called off any time up until kickoff. The possibility of non participation is the only real weapon we plebians have. The powers that be will play their little game of Kabuki Theater all day long until we decide to leave the stage.
Most people on this forum dont go to the games anyway. You can tell because its pretty active during games. Unless they are sitting on their phones in the stadium like a bunch of tween girls.
Just STFU! In case you haven't figured it out the football team exists for the sole purpose of the student-athlete and the student body of the University. That's why its called interscholastic numbnuts. If we all stopped going tomorrow the football program would still exist. In what capacity or form is a different story but the UTAD owes nothing to the fan base. After this debacle, the term "greatest fan base in college football" and "Tennessee" will never be uttered in the same sentence. Ever.
What you do doesn't mater. What I do doesn't matter. What happens will be decided by players, coaches, and business men.
The players need to play.
The coaches need to coach.
The business men need to find our new coach for next year.
How much for your 3 tickets? I might be able to work something out. What's the amount?
Trust me, the seats I bought will stay empty.
Like I said, I don't begrudge anyone their opinion. If you go to the game it's your choice, just like it's my choice not to go to the game.
Consumers use their wallet and buying power to support or reject merchandise everyday. The merchandise is simply not worth it right now.
Yes they already have my money for the seats, but they were bought long before now.
Carry on and may UT return to it's glory days
Okdokie...........Brainiac........ I would humbly suggest The TICKETS are already SOLD!! A couple of thousand cheap seats maybe not, but the money for the tickets was Banked months ago.
At least get your story correct......EMPTY seats shows no approval!!
Easy now.
Emptyneyland is going to be a wakeup call for everyone involved.
