The great thing about EmptyNeyland...the threat itself can make things happen. And it can be called off any time up until kickoff. The possibility of non participation is the only real weapon we plebians have. The powers that be will play their little game of Kabuki Theater all day long until we decide to leave the stage.

Like I said, I don't begrudge anyone their opinion. If you go to the game it's your choice, just like it's my choice not to go to the game.

Consumers use their wallet and buying power to support or reject merchandise everyday. The merchandise is simply not worth it right now.

Yes they already have my money for the seats, but they were bought long before now.

Carry on and may UT return to it's glory days

Here i will do you one better. Theyre other ways a university makes money on gameday. Do you think honestly ticket sales are the only way. Nope concessions, merchandise, etc. In concession sales alone assuming every person bouught 1 soda and a hot dog. your looking at millions. If 40k didnt go and only intended to buy 1 soda that is a loss of approx. $280,000. Furthermore, empty seats projects a picture of displeasure to the donors and University as a whole. Even if you bought a ticket and didnt show. How does a half empty stadium look. Not good to advertisors, donors. Do you think Eastman payed alot of money for only 30,000 people to show up and hear about how good sports recycle. They can do that at ETSU for less.do you think someone from Eastman wouldnt notice and be on the phone with someone at UT. They expect a big crowd thats why they dish out money to put their name in the stadium. How long would the AD sit back and remain silent, or how long Butch would remain our coach even if Currue wanted to keep him

I'm sick and tired of having people in place at the top that don't give a damn about UTs athletics. The athletic department and athletics across the board are in shambles.

Let's not stop til Joe is out. Bev is out. Possibly Currie too depending on what he does with Butch and new hire (if it'll happen)

Let's finally take back what belongs to the people of this great State!

Get all of them out of here. All of them. The loyalties are elsewhere. I'm sick and tired of all these retreads and experiments. The first this the first that. Bama retreads and underqualified people getting positions just because. Clean house. Get folks in here that actually give a damn and understand that UT football drives EVERYTHING that happens on that campus. If you don't like that....LEAVE
