Can we stop long enough to learn a lesson from all the NFL players who kneel during the national anthem to symbolically express their opinions? Who have their symbolic actions helped--and who all have they hurt?
Yeah. Let's tell Currie what we think--NOT by writing him a letter telling him exactly what we think and why, but--by doing something big, clumsy and symbolic that also screws all the innocent people who make their living from the home games!
I get coming on VolNation to harmlessly blow off steam. But messing with other people's lives isn't harmless. We talk about firing CBJ now so we don't lose recruits. Yet we somehow can't connect witholding our support for the players already wearing orange & white as being detrimental to recruiting.
We should have done this after the blowout to Georgia. It was unacceptable for fans to show up to the South Carolina game.
If you are a real Tennessee fan you should not attend another game or buy another Vols related product until this moronic administration does the right thing and fires Butch Jones.
Unless you can make a day trip out of it, the cost of tickets are just the beginning.
Okay, 4 hour drive. I promise to eat outside of Knoxville and could easily make it an hour or so south before getting a hotel.
So....no money spent in Knoxville, accomplishes the same thing as someone who has purchased tickets but is not going.
Are buying gas a pilot or not?
If you can make it to the Mizzu game I'm thinking I may have an extra ticket or two. Unfortunate 1 could be mine(I don't think so.), but my crew will be there.
I don't like it. He's already a goner. Just be there for the team. Not trying to sound all altruistic here. I understand where the idea is coming from. But it's going to accomplish NOTHING and make us look like a whiny fanbase
Enjoy keeping Butch then. If you like the **** show and keep patronizing it, then you'll keep getting a **** show.
