Yep. I did a bit of the MQ, hit up the DB for a bit, and I'm doing the dirty work of the Stormcloaks now. Probably try out the Thieve's Guild or something later.

Don't know where to go to get the first dragonstone. I've enjoyed making my character and killing stuff but these type of games are just too hard for me. I don't know if I'll buy. :no:

(Borrowed my friend's copy to try it out.)

Anyone want to give us a run down of the factions and what they represent?

Im always hesitant about joining a faction cause I always think, what if I haven't discovered some other group I like better?!

Between this and BF3, I will be set for my week off. I played about three hours last, and explored the Mine and the Temple. I need to level up a little before I can go deeper in the Temple. Also, I ran into a giant threw a couple punches and ran off. Luckily he did chase me.

Thieves Guild = Thieves

Dark Brotherhood = Murderers

College of Winterhold = Mages

Companions = Warriors, lead by werewolves

Bards College = Idiots

Stormcloaks = Rebels

Imperials = Not rebels

Battle-Born = Some clan thing

Gray-Mane = Enemies of the Battle-Born

Silver Hand = Werewolf hunters, enemy of the Companions

Wish I had a 360 to play this on. Haven't had one in a year and a half and never had a desire to own one again until now.

The guy who had the claw has a journal that gives a clue that it is on the claw. LOL. That is of course if you wanted to read the journal.

I am about 7 hours in...
Level 7 High Elf I've been focusing on:
one hand weaps
light armor
Destruction
Restoration
Sneak

I have completed all of the quests in Whiterun. After work today I will probably travel to talk to the Dragon dudes on the mtn about the voice. I haven't joined any factions yet. I'm waiting on one I like.

I really do not want to work at all now that I have this game.

Just beat the main quest after logging about 24 hours. I don't feel like I've even scratched the surface. There are at least 3 or 4 holds I haven't even been to yet.
