Honestly, that’s me.I'm an optimistic 50/50 Hoss
Watch his highlights (or lowlights) against Clemson's defense.
Idk man. I could see it if he was a little more patient sometimes but also, hesitation can be a killer. It's hard to tell what kind of player he would be against SEC defenses after watching.
I agree to some extent. Some of those throws/decisions had nothing to do with anything but him though. He's not afraid to throw it and he tends to anticipates a lot throws before it's even there. It could be good thing for our offense and exciting. He’s going to have SEC athletes on his side, so it’ll be upgraded.
All you need to see. Clemson was a similar team to us last year: pretty good but missing pieces, and ended up getting bounced in the first round of the CFP. If we want to be a championship level team, we cannot trust Aguilar. Highly question the staff for even considering this.
I love George but he needs to gain at least 25 more pounds to survive a SEC season.I agree to some extent. Some of those throws/decisions had nothing to do with anything but him though. He's not afraid to throw it and he anticipates a lot. It could be good thing for our offense and exciting.
I'm optimistic though. I just hope CJH didn't promise him the keys this season and we play the best QB.
I'm really high on George Mafintyre. Nothing against Merklinger but I think this is going to be a battle against GM and Faizon Brandon in the future.
I look at him the same as Lock had at Missouri under Heupel. Passer, runner and create.I agree to some extent. Some of those throws/decisions had nothing to do with anything but him though. Not sure I should have like your post, but you're right. Agree 100%! I've yet to see anything that would indicate he's a great QB coach. He sure didn't have an eye for Hooker, until injury took him off the bench and in the game. That's always bothered the hell out of me!Yup Huep knows how to make chicken salad out of chicken sh*t. Hooker was riding the bench at VT and barring injury he would have been a first round pick. Milton just got traded to Dallas for a 3rd round pick. Huep is a modern day Cutcliffe
I think he just fell in love with Joes arm. Hell we all did. Hooker just had it more between the ears. Joe is a physical freak. Not sure I should have like your post, but you're right. Agree 100%! Brent Farve says hello. This is coachable and a new system with a brain he will be fine if he has the arm talent. He is a one year guy and there will be a three horse race so that will push them all.Would be hilarious if we get him and he tears it up. I know, wishful thinking.
24 interceptions in 2 seasons? That’s probably more than we’ve thrown total under Heupel
