I will admit when I am wrong, I thought the staff did a good job tonite and we were definitely ready to play. I am now a believer in CP84,if we stay healthy, and I think we can do well this year

That depends on the player I suppose, he has had some bench time in the past to ponder such thoughts.

Seems like he has had ample time to figure out where the endzone is compared to the sideline. He has a knack for finding the latter very quick.

He is an impressive athlete that has a flash of brilliance every 4th or 5th run. That doesn't cut it in the SEC.

Not that you care nor should you but respect from me for posting this. Most clowns on here would just go silent and hope over time words posted earlier would go away. Hell of a start to the season!

Said I would do it and I'm a man of my word so here goes:

I thought the game was a toss-up, especially after tweet master's defection. I thought our D would take some time to adjust and would get scored on more than they did. I also thought Amerson was the real deal, and it's painfully obvious that he might be the most overrated player in quite some time. I also though C Patt's contribution this year would be marginal given the transition from JUCO to big boy football.

Well, I was wrong about all the above and I've never been happier to be so. UF game now becomes Dool's most important in his tenure. Go Vols.

Fade I think it's safe to say you're ok. You generally say what you think and if you're wrong you admit it. IMO that's better than blindly sunshine pumping and crying when things don't play out.

I thought Jacob Carter would not sniff the field, much less catch a pass unless it was the 4th qu. against Ga. St. or Akron. I was wrong; he had a nice little catch last night when it counted. Congrats to this young man. Hope for more of the same.

P.S. congrats to Z; he's caught a lot of flack on here, but last night he caught a TD that was a very nice over the shoulder catch.

Since I predicted UT to thrash NCSU and my score prediction was 38-20, I'll have no crow. I'll judge us on the 4 good teams we play.
