Eat crow thread (Merged)

Great win. The players are playmakers and it is a great sight to see.

Some of the silly play calling made me mad but that happens to every team.

Dooley was fired up and it was fun to see a good performance overall.

The defense was out of position early but recovered nicely. The pressure they got on NCST was awesome.

My daughter is competing at Opryland in clogging National Championships. Watched with a college roommate from my 1st degree. He has a 12 y/o daughter that is a heck of a softball player (3B & pitcher- playing a travel league tourney today) and a 9 y/o son that plays pee wee football and baseball. If your kids play, you've probably seen him.

Quite a bit to feel hopeful about last night. Loved the defensive schemes, but I'm a D kind of guy.

Yeah, if his son has played in the blaze football league or civitan baseball, there is a great chance I have been his coach at some point in the last few years.
Scary huh.

This is such a dumb-assedly premature thread that I can barely articulate it. The Vols looked good last night against NC State. It is what sounds like when your let those words roll around in your head for a few minutes. The time for crow will be November.
Agreed. Like the start. In the end its one game of 12, albeit an important one. Let's hope they can sustain and improve on this.

It looked like he had issues with cover 2 or a rolling cover 3 where CB will squat in the flats. It happens, but the best part was we made adjustments and looked better in that area in the 2nd half rather than hanging our heads, folding oyur tents and rolling over to let them kick us some more. Attitude DOES matter.

I agree especially with the cover 2. But seeing adjustments made was a nice change of pace.
And yes, attitude is HUGE on Defense.

Not as scary as us agreeing on the game last night. Ha.

Last name is Christian.

Before this game I stated NCSU didn't belong on the field with us. I was right. I predicted in the prediction thread a 38-20 UT victory and what was the final score?

And yes, had we lost I'd be VERY disappointed. We're a LOT better than them. You're just such an emotional fool who has ZERO reading comp skills. I've said NOTHING negative about this win. We did what we were supposed to do period. We destroyed a middle of the pack ACC team.
If we lost would you be happy? What an idiotic thing to say that I'd be pissed and cussing the coaches if we lost. Who wouldn't?

Whoa, you're prediction was pretty close
