Way too early to take seriously, but the euro today showed a snowstorm in the Ohio and Tennessee valleys on January 11th.

Here are some highlights from David Aldrich:

- El nino is weakening, which will cause the subtropical jet to move closer to us. It will also help set up a colder pattern.

- He is sticking with his prediction of 12-17 inches of snow for the valley (may raise it higher if any changes are made), and still thinks the month with the most snow will be February.

- There's a chance for our first "good snow" in mid January.

so much for hoping for a mild winter as it has been this fall, crap, that reminds me,I need to get my back up heater out and see if it works or not and get a tank of propane for it

I've had the heater for 2 years and have never fired it up,i was given a half a tank of propane (grilling size tanks) and an empty one for a trade in,i better quit fooling around and get it done

Maybe I'm wrong but isn't February usually our biggest snow month?
