Some random internet meteorologist said he expects a greater chance of snow to occur between Jan 10th and Jan 20th. That's about the only thing he got real specific with. I can't speak for the terminology in the video and I may have skipped randomly through parts of it.

Can one of you guys give an English translation/summary? They lost me about halfway through.

Essentially, he said that with el nino weakening and the teleconnections (NAO, AO, and other oscillations) flipping from where they were in December, it will lead to a colder 2nd half of winter into early spring. Also, the chances of snow will be increasing (the main event is still in February).

It's showing rain changing to snow. At the moment, the snow totals look like a dusting for the valley, but I still think we could get a few inches. We will have to wait until closer to the time period to get a better idea of the snow amounts.

Yeah I didn't suscribe for the Euro model this year so I'll be counting on you. The GFS is finally coming around for the idea of snow on the 10th.
