This! and Thanks!
AFL:
I dont know how you can say that 54000 sounds anything like 100,000 ppl. Thats almost dbl fella! Seriously? We are always crazy loud, especially when we are the underdogs. These boys are gonna get their minds blown when they come down to Ktown and get blinded by the orange out. You better tell them to bring their ear plugs. At least they could have partial hearing after the game's over. The pain from JJ and RW will nvr go awy though....
If Blunt tries to punch RW like he did that boise plyr, not only will all of the bones in his hand, arm and shoulder instantly decenigrate but the force of Rod Wilks clinching his teeth for the blow will knock out blunt and impregnate his girlfriend with their firstborn....
Good luck ducks cause youre gonna get F...ed!
Go Vols!
Wow, i wouldnt worry about your O superdawg. It would be the D and special teams, thats the only way yall scored on us. with that being said to be honest with ya, we have no idea how good we are going to be, new coach and new system,we dont have a lot of depth where we need it, but, its the SEC and anything goes. cant account for anything with bad blood and playing rivals every week in and week out. its going to be a good one, CMR is going to try and run us in the ground after the pounding ya'll received last year. and cant speak for dooley. its going to be fun.
I refuse to take smack from someone we beat down and that LOST TO KENTUCKY AT HOME! Face it, you've got just as many question marks as we do, plus a lame-duck coach. I hope Richt hangs on because he's not scaring anybody. Enjoy underperforming while the AJC and Schlabach hype you up and enjoy doing what dogs do....sniffing rear ends. GO VOLS!hmmmmm, it seems that you guys are in quite a pickle then. Good luck with the true freshman......or Nick "Joe Cox" Stephens!
Guys, Autzen, because of the way it was constructed, is one of the loudest stadiums in the COUNTRY.
Autzen Stadium has been house of horrors for two decades - ESPN
I was just about to post something like this. It's kind of the same reason that Lane Stadium(VA Tech) is so darn loud.
If you're talking about Oregon, you'd be dead wrong.
Neyland would blow Autzen out of the water! Regardless of shape of the stadium, Neyland's not all spread out or anything, the seats are pretty steap. Plus, You just can't compare 54000 to 100,000 ppl. There is no way in hell that 54,000 ppl can be louder or more intimidating than 100,000 drunk rednecks in orange. the ducks will be lucky to make it out of there alive.
Neyland isn't really that loud for a stadium that draws 6 figure crowds.

I'm willing to bet at least some of the hype around Autzen is the fact that just about every other team they face in their conference plays their home game in glorified high school stadiums. I don't care what Lloyd Carr said, either. I'm sure a lot of that was shock and coachspeak.Man, this isn't even up for debate. Neyland might be one of the most intimidating places to play at, but Autzen is infamous since the renovations for how loud it gets.
It's not because of how many people, but because of the way the building was constructed. All the sound is trapped on the field, similar to the Swamp. But more so.
