Early projected depth Chart for Spring Football.

Nick Stephens we better hope isn't #1 unless he changes attitude

Not much choice in the matter. It's awfully tough to trot out a 6'6" 200 LB true freshman out in front of a very thin, inexperienced OL. Stephens with a knowledge of the system and a more mature body gives us the best chance to win regardless of whether or not he has a tendency to whine. Good news is, whoever wins the job will have some real playmakers to give the ball to.

We female football fans shouldn't have to come on this board and look at soft porn.

I'm a very attractive woman and I know football, but, in the spirit of CDD's intelligent and attractive wife, I think we should refrain from the women-as-objects avatars.
Gee, vollydoll, you used to have a nice avatar and it looks like there was a nice behind under those feathers

I've heard he is very innovative when he needs to be and creates odd looking schemes. Should be intereresting.

Hopefully our QB's are good enough to distribute the ball. If so, you have to love the look of our offense.

Also, expect to see more Wildcat. I'd expect to see G Jones, Oku, and Rogers involved in that.

I think QB's will be fine if they aren't on their arses...OL is brand new....

I think Nick will be fine. Cutcliffe helped to recruit this kid, so there must be something to him. NS was purposely kept off of the field by CLK, er coach X, so as not to scare off any potential QB recruits, IMO. He completed 9-13 passes for 149 yards w/ 1 TD and 1 Int. last season. I agree with another poster in this thread who stated that if the O-line keeps our Qb's off of their arses everything will be fine.

stephens wasn't on the field because even at his worst, the coaches determined crompy was better. Comments to the contrary that the competition was close was kiffy not blast his backup. Stephens throws late. Nothing wrong physically, it's the speed of the game. Let's just hope someone can do for him, what last years staff did with crompton.

After reviewing this, I think we have talent all over the field. Id the OL young and inexperienced? Yes, but if Hiestand can coach them up, we'll be fairly competitive. Are we thin at DT? Yes, but let CCS get after them for 8 months and we can be competitive. All this along with Bennie Wylie getting them stronger, we are going to make progress this year. I am not saying we are going to win the SECe, but we will hold our own and not take that step back that most of us thought we would after Kiffin left in the 11th hour of recruiting.

this is a little off topic but can tickets be purchased prior to the game? if so, how much and where can I find them? thanks in advance.

edit: nvm, found the answer in another thread.

Anyone else think Bryce gets beat out?....or does his receiving ability (or his "willingness" to transfer) make him the starter?
