Early projected depth Chart for Spring Football.

I like this, really well put but:

Theres no way Williams plays more than Oku and Poole. He is good, not better than them. Williams may play during short yardage situations.

I wouldnt be shocked to see Da'rick play ahead of D-Moore.

I could see douglas moving to LT and having a frosh at RT. Its more important to have your best tackle guarding the QB's blind side.

You forgot LB'S Herman Lathers, Shane Reviez and Josh Hawkins. Especially, Lathers because he started the last 2-3 games for us last year at MLB due to injuries.

I would like to see Hunter and Rogers push Moore and Jones for playing time. I don't think Dooley will play favorites going into the fall, since, you know, he just got here. Should be interesting at WR-if we can get all that speed on the field and they actually know what they are doing this offense could be sneaky good. A lot depends on the QB, but still, there is a lot of potential here and a lot of playmakers if they live up to it.

This isn't really a Spring football depth chart, because today's signees won't be on campus till the Summer. But thanks for putting it together.

Well then we are screwed big time.

Teddy Gaines started for 2 years. Surely Art can't give up more big plays than Teddy "Big Play" Gaines.

I sure hope these predictions of scoring 35-40 a game are jokes. An inexperienced QB and shaky OL does not make for a scoring juggernaut.

Man do we need Palardy to hit the ground running...err kicking!
If we can get fairly consistent touch backs on kickoff's, we will be an improved team on that alone!!:rock:

QB- (1)Stephens (2)Simms (3*)Bray [redshirt]
RB- (1)Brown (2)Poole (3a)Oku (3b)Williams (4*)Rajion Neal [redhirt]
FB- (1)Cooper (2)Johnson (3)Fugate
WR- (1)Jones (2)Rogers (3)Hunter (4)Oku [gets snaps in the slot]
WR- (1)Moore (2)Milton (3)Teague
TE- (1)Stocker (2)Rivera (3)Adderly (4)Bartholomew
LT- (1)Douglass (2)
LG- (1)Thomas, D. (2)Shaw
C- (1)Thomas, V. (2)Revis
RG- (1)Schofield (2)Pope
RT- (1)James (2)

*I dont think Schofield is a natural guard but I think he has to play guard in order for us to get our best 5 OL on the field. I also know it is unusual for true freshman to start on the OL. But James is a special talent and our depth is so thin I dont think we have a choice. I think Oku gets quite a few snaps but not many of them in a traditional running set (slot/3rd down back). I think it will be optimum to redshirt Bray but if Simms is as awful as some think then we might not have that option. WR depth chart will also depend on what happens with Teague.

DE- (1)Walker (2)Bohannon (3)Miller
DT- (1)Hughes (2)Brown (3)Sykes
DT- (1)Walls (2)Nelson (3)Jeffrey
DE- (1)Martin (2)Williams (3)Smith

MLB- (1)Reveiz (2)Lathers (3)Mitchel-Thornton
SLB- (1)Thompson (2)Askew (3)Nelson
CB- (1)Evans (2)Anderson (3)Fleming
CB- (1)Gordon (2)Clark (3)Oliver
SS- (1)Myles (2)Wilks (3)Loften
FS- (1)Jackson (2)Waggoner (3)Raines

K- (1)Palardy (2)Lincoln
P- (1)Cunningham (2)Palardy
KO- (1)Palardy (2)Cunningham
KR- (1a)Oku (2a)Meline
PR- (1)Oku (2)Dixon

*This is based on a 4-3, which is the most likely defense we will run. But we dont know that for sure yet. MLB and WLB will be a toss-up based on how quickly Reveiz and Frazier recover. I think King makes a big jump from year 1 to year 2. I see Gordon seizing the opportunity at one of the CB spots. Dixon will factor into the kick return game somewhere.

We female football fans shouldn't have to come on this board and look at soft porn.

I'm a very attractive woman and I know football, but, in the spirit of CDD's intelligent and attractive wife, I think we should refrain from the women-as-objects avatars.

So let's move the OL around. We're also weak at DL. Who's 6'4" + and a mound of wall who can stop the run. A new QB CANNOT do well without some protection. Y'all seem more interested in the specific talent rather than the overall team effort. Who's gonna protect Bray?

Nice work by you and the OP. I see Revis starting @center and Shaw starting @ OG. Flip Frazier and King at LB and start Clark over Gordon at corner and we're pretty much good to go.

I don't think Teague is going to disappear like that. He is too talented to be taken off the field. I think we could see a reversal of what happened last year and see he or meline switched over to D. Teague could play corner. I wonder how he would size up against what we've got there right now

If we can get all those LBs back healthy (N.Reveiz, Frazier and King) we would actually be deep at linebacker.
