Apparently GameStop has leaked the price although it has been pulled now. $149 for Kinect, $299 for a Kinect Arcade Bundle, and $399 for the Kinect Elite Bundle. No bundle with the new Xbox 360. If that price is legit, Kinect will be a massive, massive failure. Hopefully it was just a placeholder price cause $150 is ridiculous. I just don't understand what Microsoft expected to get out of Kinect. It's just a big waste of time and resources.

GameStop Prices Kinect, New Xbox 360 Kinect Bundles

oooh, that's what you don't want to see

they want a casual gamer market bit - assuming this is right - Kinect is near the price of a regular system (unless they're buying the new 360, in which case they're spending $450 without buying a single game)

New Need For Speed Hot Pursuit, very nice. Glad they are going back to their roots.

The Kinect technology is amazing, but I just have no interest in actually playing games with it.

it's irritating to me to see how "gimmicky" gaming has gotten. i've never really cared about motion controls or playing games in 3D. i'm sure it's fun for ahwile, but it's novelty would wear out for me eventually.

Dead Space 2 looks badass. I hope the multiplayer has some type of Horde mode.

it's the business aspect. They all just want that casual gamer money....and so far, honestly, everything looks like everyone is going to do the same thing to do it (seriously, on the gaming front of kinect, there really wasn't anything innovative shown with the tech ...:ermm:)

lol. it looks like the new medal of honor game has all but copied the title from the call of duty series.

oh yeah, i agree. like trueorange said it's all about the revenue from the casual gamer market. i see why everyone's going that route, just that i can't see myself buying it.

The Call of Duty series was a complete rip-off of the Medal of Honor series. They even hired away key personnel to form Treyarch.

Everybody complained that there were to many WW2 games. Now, to many modern warfare games?

i was just talking about how the multiplayer looked exactly the same. you wouldn't even notice the difference between the two at first glance judging from that stage demo they just did.

i was unaware. it's been forever since i played a medal of honor game. i played the first one on ps1 and medal of honor underground on the same system and they were both pretty fun.

i never played any of the others in the series after that so i never did see what their multiplayer setup actually looked like.
