can you fly Rusty? Or do you just fall out of them voluntarily?

I'm a skydiver. A parachutist. As a youth, I trained to fly powered aircraft. Though I've never forgotten the fundamentals, I did not get my pilot license. Life happened. I would happily train anew, obtain my license(s), and fly aircraft if I had the means to own one. The Cessna Grand Caravan is versatile. It can land just about anywhere. It has good range. It can be configured in numerous ways. It makes for a great "sky-RV."

Your nuts!!!!!!lol

I have been wanting one of these babies for some time now. But the price, over $300.00 was a little to steep because it would be a tool that I didn't use very often, so I couldn't justify spending that much money.

Then I ran across one at a flea market.

I asked "Whattaya got on that saw?"

The man said "$20.00".

I said "Duz she run?"

"'Course she runs." he said.

What more could you ask for? I took the saw, he took the money.

I took it home and it did run. At least until I got a blade and put it on the saw.

The new blade costs me about 3 times what I paid for the saw.

I had to inspect it, found the problem, did some mechanicing and it runs fine now.

still got all 10 fingers, all ten toes? all your limbs?

I got to use my SAW for the first time Saturday. I cut these two leaf spring brackets out of some 3/8" steel and it did a fine job. The cuts were smooth and I had to grind the edges of the cuts because they were pretty sharp. I'm still learning how to use this tool, so I didn't "crowd" the saw, just let it cut at it's own pace. And of course, I'm just an amateur welder, aka a "dauber".100_1214.JPG
