Duce Staley blasts David Reaves

1. Beamer's already been here. He impressed nobody.
2. If South Carolina thinks that's an upgrade, that explains all those championships you've won since joining the league.

He's been there a year, and he is an upgrade. You'll find out soon enough though. I hope Reaves isn't the QB coach also.

Buy the Beamer BS. Enjoy when your team is populated with a bunch of reprobates who can't get you anything better than a trip to Shreveport.

That's true, and he's beaten Wyoming the same number of times as Fulmer. Doesn't mean he's able to hold either of them's jock.
Fulmer hasn't won an SEC title in 10 years. Spurrier hasn't won one in eight. Not too tough to rise to that standard. The '90s are over. Too bad you guys hired a guy who left his success there.

There isn't anything to buy. If Reaves was this master recruiter he'd of been able to take away one recruit with him, and at this point he hasn't. Doesn't look that will change either. If Reaves was great you'd see players jumping ship, and none of them have. Since he's left we've had two 4 stars commit. What does that say about Reaves, or what does it say about the rest of the USC staff including Beamer?

Once again what has your coach done, other than marry a hot chick.

I wasn't trying to scare you. Hiring such an unknown should scare you.

If Steve Spurrier, this washed up coach wanted the Tenn job it would have been his.

:lolabove: :eek:lol: :lolabove: :eek:lol:

We got rid of 1 washed up coach. We would not have hired another.

Spurrier = the new Fulmer of the SEC

No, it wouldn't. I love when people who have no connection to our program come on here and tell us what would have happened. Spurrier couldn't get the Auburn job if he wanted it now. Washed up is washed out. Enjoy having a coach more concerned with playing golf than elevating South Carolina out the SEC gutter.

How is that gutter these days anyways?

Get a job at a traditional SEC power. Something your coach hasn't been able to pull off since his NFL experience. How did telling Jeremy Foley to "look in the trophy case' for his resume turn out for Ol' Steve? That's right. It git him a job where he gets to expound on the importance of trips to Tampa for the Outhouse Bowl.

I can see it now. Yeah we passed on Steve Spurrier, for a much better candidate. You know Lane Kiffin, the guy that's won all those games.

The media thinks it's an awful hire. I can see if you still made the hire, and Spurrier was available.

We don't really think about it much because we don't expect to stay there long. I'm sure it will be the same way you remember it when you return in the next few years.

Yeah I can understand why you wouldn't expect to be there long with your coaches track record of success.

Lane Kiffin has a future. Spurrier has the past.

Yeah cause Alabama didn't want him. Might I add a much bigger traditional SEC and national power. Miami didn't want him. Might I add a much bigger national power. Should we touch LSU also? Should I continue.

LSU blew it with their hire. Miles has 3 years or so before he is gone. Alabama is 10x happier with the guy they have now.
