I thought this was impressive and thought some of you would like to see it as well. I’m not posting this to draw out his haters. I’m posting this in disbelief that ANYONE would count him out or want this guy to transfer

I never saw it, but it's been said by many that Jamarcus Russell could throw it threw the goal posts from 75 yds out from one knee.

Outside of his interceptions the kid has had some freaky bad luck. Like 3 or more concussions last year......

He’s got a bit of over confidence in his arm for sure. Yes, I believe he can make every throw but he tries to fit the ball in windows that are nearly shut and tinted.

Then there’s learning how to slide...

Arm strength is great, but accuracy more important. Relates to golf; drive for show, putt for dough.
I agree and one of the things that made it as impressive as it was not only the distance but it hit dead center. You would think that when aiming for something such as a goalpost the center would be the target when it left your hand. So it’s not just an example of arm strength but accuracy as well.

Well he is a HOF. The award is named after him as well

Yes, but as a punter. If I had seen him punt the ball through the goalposts from the 50 yd line it wouldn't have been particularly surprising or worth mentioning, but he was a punter on his knees at the 50 throwing the ball through the uprights.

Admittedly read your post wrong then. 🤦‍♂️

Glad to see these boys having fun.

Yeah, that's about all there is to take away from this. If there was a video demonstrating his ability to do this consistently, over an over again, that would be impressive. Otherwise, it just shows that he's getting out and having some fun with his buddies.

Is the goal to hit the post, or throw it through the upright? Either way, it seems he has a strong arm, I don't think anyone would have ever said "he didn't." So for me, I don't see the relevance of this video?! Playing around vs game time are two different animals. I remember watching him throw the football in a trash can from many yards away.....that was before he committed to TN.
