Drew Richmond and Eli Wolf enter transfer portal

If you're serious with the question the interesting thing is once they enter the portal the current school doesn't have to accept them back or offer a scholarship. Which means you better be dang sure when you throw your name in the ring that you actually are gonna go somewhere else. If (in our case) you are needing to trim your scholarship roster and have recruited over current talent this can be a slam dunk.

Very interesting aspect. Did not realize that part.

I guess it was the "balance attempt" by the NCAA to say the schools cant block transfers but the players better make sure they really want to leave so the school has an out if a guy just wants to test the waters.
From the NCAA transfer portal:
Once notification of transfer is signed, your current school has the right to reduce or cancel your financial aid at the end of the academic term. (Read more about the financial aid proposal on ncaa.org.)
• After notification, your original school is not obligated to take you back as a student-athlete.

Chaney didn’t use TE’s hardly at all at UGA. Had Nauta, Ford, and other 4*’s too. I’m more interested to see how he utilizes ty chandler and Marques callaway.

Nauta was third in # of receptions and yds. behind Ridley and Hardman. TE's accounted for just over 600 yds. of offense for UGA last year. Ford red-shirted. Vols TEs = 225 yds., UF=440.

Good info and research. I like when a VN poster can bring facts to refute feelings or opinions and I have seen several that insist that TE are just blockers under CJC.

This is actually pretty surprising. Just goes to show you that sometimes OC's just can't win. Nice find LAVol.

Care to prove me wrong? Underperformed greatly given the hype.
Never argue with an idiot.. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Given the circumstance I truly believe he did what he could. First year player in a new offense with a terrible o-line. What did you expect? Underperformed GREATLY is a little harsh. The whole offense underperformed but DWA was never a problem. Would you say the RB position underperformed? I think not given the terrible o-line play.

You and your capability for critical thinking are not welcome here, (blue font, I'm to lazy to actually click on the blue font even though it would have been easier than typing all of this BS out), sir...

This may have been covered, but since Richmond was at first day of workouts yesterday, can he transfer now? Is still in the portal? I didn’t see anything on his Twitter talking about other schools, and i know the coaches were trying to convince him to stay. Does anyone have any info?
