And at every step of the way, the CDC and their water-carriers brush off people's concern as uninformed alarmism. All its done is make them look clueless and undermine their credibility - which is the last position the CDC wants to be in.

The most logical assumption of how the hospital staffer got the disease is not properly following decontamination protocols before getting out of their protective suit.

She was considered low risk. She had "extensive contact" multiple times with the patient but wasn't on the list of 48? Makes zero sense

If it isn't airborne like they tell us, then that shouldn't have been a huge issue. You think she didn't get out of her suit and wash her hands at some point? We've been told from day 1 that people get it in Africa because they don't follow proper hygiene methods like washing their hands and that if they did then it wouldn't spread.

Ebola has to be very easy to spread. One of the news shows rotted today her protective suit may have had a pinhole in it..a PINHOLE.

If I understand correctly, the common cold requires any where from 100-250 virons to cause the cold to take place. Ebola on the other hand requires only 1.

Think about that for a minute. Highly contagious in the right atmosphere.

For now stupidity is the only reason for getting Ebola while you're a nurse treating an Ebola patient. Even with a suit on I'd be working on that patient as if I didn't have the suit on at all. Truthfully I probably wouldn't be working on an Ebola patient if I were a nurse, especially given the lack of drug treatment available for the disease. Call me weak, call me a ball-less, call me whatever you want and I'll gladly accept it but at the end of the day I'll be driving back home to my family and content knowing I don't have to worry about it.

The day you see an airplane sitting on the tarmac on American soil with a Hazmat team walking on board is the day the crap got real and that's already taken place. This is ridiculous and just like Africa it's only going to get worse before it gets better.

But, but, Obama said ebola would not come to the USA. This guy doesn't know how to speak a word of truth & the people that surround Obama to give him information on anything are a bunch of incompetent know nothings. Where he finds these people......oh wait, they're Democratic money donors that pay their way up the ladder to get into his administration.

Yes, I saw that in another thread. That would be a scary situation to be in, just sitting there with people in hazmat suits roaming through the plane and waiting for the results to come back if it is Ebola or not.
