Drastic action needed on Ebola

Lets face it, our government and the CDC are lying to the American people and this confirms it. They are f***ing CLUELESS! I am very worried about the 4,000 troops being sent to Ebola stricken countries in Africa. What world am I living in, none of this is adding up.

Yep. And this now makes me really wonder if this is a weaponized strain.

Trust the experts to be wrong and to lie. They don't know everything about this virus or the nurse wouldn't have it. Anyone think she swapped bodily fluids with this guy on his deathbed while wearing protective gear?

And this just so happens to be coming to America at the start of flu season and we refuse to issue a travel ban to the countries of origin? This is right out of a b-movie.

Everyone seems to be forgetting that man was in the hospital once and released then came back a second time. That's one trip and a beginning of the 2nd where workers were exposed to him without PPE. I'm sure she did have on protective gear after they knew he bad Ebola but he was there before and they were exposed without it.

It should be pretty clear that what the CDC says is all bull****.

Yep.

It has to be transmitted easier than we are being told.

If it can only be transmitted by bodily fluids why do the healthcare workers wear protective clothing that looks like a Hazmat suit around Ebola patients. I am no health expert by any means but iirc Aids and Hep C are only transmitted by body fluids. Why do our healthcare workers wear protective equipment around Ebola patients but not the Aids and Hep C patients?

Wonder who she traded bodily fluids with after his first trip to the hospital?

And who they traded with, etc.......

See how this works?

Well considering your not contagious until you start showing symptoms and she was already being monitored due to the fact a patient in her care had Ebola. I'm gonna say she came in contact with very few if any once she was contagious and like most Ebola cases her family and physicians will be the most at risk.

Says who? The CDC?

I'm sorry man, but I do not trust these folks.

No one knows anything about the worker's personal life and family. You cant make these assumptions. We have gone from: very unlikely to catch it in Africa, to very unlikely anyone would come to US with it, to unlikely that anyone in the US would contract. All false statements.

What does her personal life and family have to do with being contagious once your symptomatic? She was being monitored, as soon as symptoms appeared she was put in the hospital.

You are the one making statements about when she was contagious and who she was around to play this stuff down. I am saying no one knows anything about her personal life and everything about how this virus works.

But even if she got it after the first encounter, how did she get it? If it is truly as hard to spread as we are being lead to believe, why did a nurse who most likely washes her hands and wears gloves contract something that supposedly is only spread through bodily fluids?

How is the flu spread? Exchange of bodily fluids correct? Sneezing, coughing, etc.

Now, how many people get the flu every year?

My statements are the exact things that have been said, you're not contagious until you are showing symptoms. She was being closely monitored. As soon as her symptoms appeared she was put in the hospital. She and the hospital handled her case correctly to this point.

Flu and Ebola have different incubation periods. You can give someone the flu before you have symptoms of it yourself.

The cdc reported that the nurse was indeed wearing protective gear while treating Duncan.

Something is not adding up.

Exactly. CDC director also just said the nurse couldn't identify any point when she did anything wrong causing the contact.
